lol! people keep telling me Trott can play like this!

Maybe not that good though, special talent Virat :)

Added bet in the next game, think Jayawardene is a good bet @ 11/4 to top score for Dehli, it's pretty much a 3 horse race, with the other 2 candidates (Warner and Sehwag) very hit n miss, and Sehwag coming in cold.

Jayawardenes role is to bat long and try and post 40+ even if it takes 40 balls, so should get a good run for the money!

Only tiny bet tho as wudnt mind him getting a first baller either!

    Updated....

This is 1 of the best T20 innings I've ever seen on many levels.

    Quality all round.

If Dehli weren't an average attack, I'd say the best.

But I guess if they had some quality, he wouldn't be able to do it.

    meh.

    Who cares, joy to watch!

edit* posting jinx is getting silly now.

    Pollard next tho!

Yah wud have taken 209-5 after being 1-2.  Understatement of the year.

Very disappointed to lose from here. Most obvious statement of the year.

Warner out early, Jayawardene to score 60 off 50 in a losing cause as his team collapse around him.

    2 times! Then Poker! :)

Kings 11 Punjab to beat Chennai, £7.50 win @ 13/10.

Unspectacular pick, but will be happy to keep plodding on and making abit at a time. Big bets to come :)

Manan Vohra to top score for Punjab @ 4/1 is prob a decent bet. Not gonna bet, but thought I'd put it here just incase he whacks 100 off 50 :)

Looks like I'm in trouble @ the halfway point here, Chennai 1/7 :/

Wudn't fancy them to win 7 out of 8 times from here, but they're big favourites.

The strength in depth of their Indian players is crazy, they've a team full of internationals. Maybe under-estimated them.

Lets hope for a blowup! Early wickets reqd or we've no chance :(

    Cheers Splashman.

GL with the golf this week. I still have £2 on Poulter to win from when I tried to back him for the matchplay @ 40/1 and had the wrong market open :/

Could be the biggest fluke of all time!

Any chance of telling me what you had in this hand?

    642064343

Not sure if I played it bad, was trying to cut out the spew in Tuesdays session, hence starting at 20nl where I was readless and loads of ppl were short. Had no choice but to play abc then take it up to 30nl.

If I raise flop I think I'm just face up, but I spose u can fold some stuff u wud 3bet a button open with. I'm unsure tho, prob shud be happy just calling down and folding otr :(

T ott or riv wudda been a grim spot for me tho.

Really trying to wrestle with my inner degen today!!!!

Want to lump the LOT on Rajistan Royals to beat Pune in the 2nd game.

I know it's not alot money wise, and if I didn't have this thread going I'd prob stick £20 on RR without even thinking about it, but as the aim here is to make a profit over a prolongued period of time, it seems like a rash thing to do.

Having built up a steady bankroll over the first 10 days or so of the comp do I really wanna gamble all the profit on 1 match and have to start from scratch? ugh. yes I do :(

Wish I hadn't bet £7.50 yesterday, should have just left it alone.

    ------------

I'm also torn in the first game.

I said this thread is partly to enchance my enjoyment of the comp.

But the first game today is an absolte belter, and I don't really need to gamble on it to enjoy it, with the players on show, it should be a joy to watch anyway.

My problem is, I'm obv an RCB fan, and love to watch ABDV, Gayle and Kohli smash it out of the park.

But at odds against, I fancy KKR to are the value and to back them means I'll have to watch the game wanting Gayle and Kohli and co to get out early.

    meh.

    ****

K I'm guna bottle the first game! Must stay as professional as possible ;)

In the v unlikely event that any1 is reading this thread and following the tips, I wouldn't put u off KKR @ 11/10 to beat RCB, unless ur a RCB fan :)

Obv need some intrest in the game, so I'm sticking with Virat Kohli to top score for RCB for the third game in succession.

Again I see it as a 3 horse race between him, Gayle and ABDV, so 3/1 is about right, but he's in awesome form, AB looked dodgy and Gayle has had 2 fails in a row (not sure if that should be a positive or a negative for this bet)

Gonna put it in a treble with Watson to top score for RR this afternoon (11/4) and Dehli to win the only fixture tomorrow against Hydrabad (4/6)

Treble pays 24/1, so can have a small bet with potential for a decent return, and not be too bothered if Gayle smacks 100 :)

Will decide what I want to do in the RR game later, glad it's 2nd up, but the downside is I'll have a drink inside me and prob do something silly :(

nvm, watch the first game if u can, will be a cracker!

Small bet just before the start on KKR to score 163 or more, £5 @ 5/6

Bisla is ****. With the exception of maybe 1 or 2, there aren't many uncapped young Indian players making much of an impact.

Would expect to see a few making runs, as there's still 7 Indians per team.

Kallis in early isn't too bad anyway. 165 lets gooooooo.

15 reqd off the last over, or the Dswing continues :(

Feel unlucky to lose this bet, they shud have got 170 plus easily. Morgan held back too long.  :(

    Virat :(

Was getting annoyed after the KKR fail, and poker mtts starting bad today, but watching Chris Gayle bat like this awesome!

Still, after Kohli fails to top score, profit is down to £15.51 :(

Gonna stick with my instincts, and put it all on RR who have drifted to evens for some reason.

I backed Pune in their first 2 games and they were terrible, RR have looked v good, so it's going on :D

I had a pair of beautiful Ladies.

Raising flop would def get me off some hands that I 3bet with. Would you have shoved river had I checked? But I don't think I can ever check the river as I'd be missing out on value more often than not. And if i was bluffing I'd prob shove river too.
