Not really playing well atm. I think I'm all pokered out!!! Didn't really feel like playing tonight but made the effort since it was DTD night. I'm having the rest of the week off and will be back on the tables on Friday. I have some work stuff to catch up on so will crack on with that and come back refreshed and eager to play at the end of the week.

Needless to say I didn't cash in any of the DTD's. I made poor calls, bad folds and bluffed in really bad spots!!!

Will post two hands below.......was the fold correct in both of these???

    Hand 1.

I think the call pre is ok? How is play on the rest of the hand? No reads on oppo. Was the river a sigh fold or should I have called?

hand 2 i dont mind calling here early stages of a mtt n just set mind ya bloating a pot oop makes it tricky to lay when an overcard comes down    the line u have took id pot control and check the flop and then bet on this gd turn card for us u would think and bet for value on the river unless we get raised on  late stages with this action its a shove with jj early stages im happy to play multiway out of position and set mine
    Posted by IDONKCALLU
Pretty much the opposite of how I played it then lol.........as played what are you doing on the river?

Hand 1 - I folded.......they told me they had A6 (but they always say that). I was inclined to believe them after the way they played the next few hands and busted out though. Made a note on them.

Hand 2 - I called. Just did not believe and put them on the busted draw. They had AK.....ooops

Ok.......I know I said I was not playing anymore this week but I finished work early and decided to have one sat attempt for the turbo open tonight. If I lost it then I would have switched off. Anyway I got through so I will also be playing the mini alongside it.

Gl at the tables all....I hope to be playing a lot better than recent nights although these turbos are pretty brutal so will also need to run well.

Back from a few days break. Have decided not to bother with many (if any) UKOPS sats as they could easily eat away at my br with no return.

Will be playing the micros though. Have reg for the £3.30 £1k run but not bothering with the £5.50 as it is a rebuy.

Full update later on tonight. Have a great UKOPS all and gl at the tables.

Had a break and still not playing great. Not sure if I'm making the right decisions either (take the hand above).......seeing as nobody has given their opinion, I did call and he had 55 for the fh. When things aren't going your way you ask yourself if you should/could have folded.......I dunno!!

Had a min cash in the mini for a slight recovery but I definitely need to improve!!

    waller02030£6.98 + £3.76 Head Prizes2
    BR = £184.74

I am going to have a dabble on the cash tables now. I may regret it, I may not. Gonna play 10nl, if I lose 3 buyins I'm walking!!

    Just jam the flop ;)

I certainly like raising here, start getting the chips in with ze nuts. Can get value from a load of hands as well.

Readless, turn is a fold, I think. It's a very bizarre shove. But is he doing it with a bare 7 or the wrong end of the straight? There are, however, many players on this site whom I'd be calling quicker here than Usain Bolt!

waller I'v got to admit  the moment I left your table things turned ugly for me in that mini was moved to a table which had lots of limpers and it wasn't long before I was out I did have 1 other MTT running at the  time a 2KBH with a BI of £11and I did ok their.

that 1010 hand might be a good one to ask for peoples advice on the clinic because it's not usually common for a player to have 3 consecutive decent hands so knowing that I had already did one jam as the SB and a min raise as the button what's the chances i'm still a good hand.

How is it a bad beat? You're ahead pre then behind rest of the way. And the click back raise oop is pretty poor, should be much bigger.

I would disagree with you both, any raise i come in for on a FT will be a min raise.

A call with 10 5 is pretty poor to be fair.

hey m8 just some feedback on the hand the guy with 105 played hand horrible but defo think you should raise bigger because theres been a limp and also your oop.

but in all honesty prob same result as if the oppoent bad enough to limp wae 105 suited prob calling regardless but as long you are doing right thing we can forget about them and the result imo.

This would be fine if we were opening the betting. We're not. We're 3betting an EP limper, and we're gonna be playing the hand oop. What hands is he gonna limp fold for that little?

Of course his call is poor. But we can't control how villains play their hands. We can only play our hands as best we can. I'd be raising much bigger pre. I'm then betting quite large on that flop to set up a turn jam (purely for value). So even if he calls pre then the hand works out the same. But the mistake is then at his door for peeling a chunky 3bet with 10 high whilst pretty shallow.

Pedantic, but we're only '2betting' or 'isolating', maybe even 'punishing' the limper :D

Agree though, raise more for valueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 35xbb+ effective.

    Ice cold deck :(
