    Hi guys,

    Rate your play.....

    End of 2012 I'd say I was a 2/10.

    End of 2013 I'd say 4/10.

    I'm hoping for 6/10 for end of 2014.  I've realised there's an apprenticeship to be served in poker.

    Biggest improvements... 
    1.  Probably a better understanding of position & the game in general.
    2.  I def limp less. (I know! it's a work in progress)
    3.  I no longer "blind down".  "Shove with ATC" means something now!
    4.  I'm no longer intimidated by a "big" name on my table, (unless it's Coxy or Tommy)  oh and Ryry can be scary!
    5.  My all-in sat game is also going well!  

    Room for improvement...
    1.  BRM - Poker is a hobby for me and is my main vice so I view it as "money lost"!  Altho I like to win, it's NOT the most important factor.
    2.  My other vice, chardonnay, I feel is def holding me back! Altho she says NO!  (I mean the wine of course!)
    3.  Note taking! I'm hopeless at this, must do better!

    One other thing which I must mention, and which I rate as a def asset  in my poker.  Unusually for a poker player it would seem,  I don't tilt!  Not sure why TBH, 

    Above all tho I'm still really enjoying learning & playing the game!

    THE STRONGEST PART OF MY GAME IS MY DRINKING. THE WEAKEST PART IS HEADS UP PLAY. IF I WAS HEADS UP WITH A CORPSE I WOULD STILL MAKE A DEAL. 0 OUT OF 10.

    Just joined today and i did use my welcome bonus, i also entered a all in sat and won entry to the main, so got the 11 pounds
    happy days :)
    But then i get knocked out of main, so not so happy anymore.
    plenty more tournies to play!!! :)

    Hi Rich, 
    Last year i would have rated myself 5/10 this year 6/10....
    the reasons I've stopped chasing straights and possible flushes as much deeper into tournies.
    Also i cashed at 11th in a UKOPS MINI :-)

    Great show and good tips from Ryan, good of him to share

    Please show this hand and get Ryans opinion whether I played this hand OK.  Even Rich's opinion will do.  Don't know if I could have played it any differently!!

    ...mostly looking at my raise size pre and possibly my decision to jam the flop when I do have the option to take a free card when I know im only getting called by better when I jam.
