    BR £123.14 (+23.14)

Payed again for not having a big enough roll. Satelited into the £52 UPKC game but had to take over lay instead of reging 1st for the 220 or 240 game - then de-reging , but will learn for next time. Wasn,t going well on the bounty hunters so good to get a cash in a FR

    BR £157.14  (+57.14)

Was down £29 in last cpl of days

£29 down on Sky but got a 2nd in a 5 euro game elsewhere for 240 euros so pleased with game after so long not playing - Still trying to work out what my best game is but i prefer tournies and as i don,t have as much time as i used to so i,ll mainly be sticking to those  just enjoy them more

Decided to stay in at last minute tonight  and chill with a few games. Worked out well and my scope graph is gradually heading back inthe right direction

Not updated for 5 days - Not really played much . 2 weeks out from rehab and i,m concentrating on other stuff. The important things in life. Its still a good hobby tho and a lot of fun .

My main aim is to to get my SS graph going back in the right direction which i,m pleased to say it is atm. ( currently emailing them over a game they missed - said they have a backlog of ten days of missed tourney results. It was biggest win for a while as well)

Lost a cpl of MTT,s tonight but currently 4th from 4 in 1K BH - happy days

Got 3rd in the end but lucky to get that. needed tho. Just gonna stick to mainly BH,s (cant,t bring myself to playthe £5 ones coz of the rake tho) and the timed tourneys

Doing ok on Sky atm but can,t seem to win a thing after getting off to some good starts.

Doing the 5 a day promo and will play some more MTT,s this week , probably £10 Bountys and £5 MTT,s.

Was thinking thats some other sites might be easier tho after playing 2 tourneys on another site last night- Any chance of some 3 euro-rebuys plz Sky? Got a lot of luck but happy days

EDIT Cant paste results from SS but it was 1st /146 and 1st from 187 for 184 and 248 euros

Just started playing a bit again and thought i need to set myself some new challenges.

I was kind off forced into playing after my benefits were sanctioned and i,ve been trying to live off £60 a week for the last few months, even though i,m tied into contracts with Sky and 02 so managed to make a coule of hundred and gonna leave £100 in my account to play with and if that goes i,ll have to wait again until i,m financially better off.

My only target is to keep a roll to play with and hopefully withdraw bits over a £100

Despite my financial situation i can,t complain. Had a good year. Done some college courses in Mental Health awareness, Substance Misuse and Peer Mentoring and even did some decorating i,d been puting off for years and my general well-being is better than it has been for a long time. I,ve also started visiting my local leisure centre 2-3 times a week where i do some sports, a few weights and some swimming.

One thing that has always scared the **** out of me though is the treadmills but after reading Dohh,s diary earlier i,m gonna give it a bash today and think about doing a 5k run in the New Year and see where it leads. I was quite a good cross country runner when i was a kid but that was many moons ago and having smoked for 27 years won,t have helped.

I,ll update at least once a week. although i am struggling to find a balance between playing poker and spending time with the girlfriend so i know i can,t play anywhere near what i used to play

I,ll be sticking to micro cash 2p/4p and 5p/10p (£3 max) and low stakes MTT,s (from £2-£5)

    New BR £100

    Cheers Guys

Not a great week as my benefits tribunal arrived on Wednesday. I thought it would be a formality as my welfare rights officer had been telling me i had more than enough points to pass it and get my decision overturned, so it was abit off a worry when she phoned the day before and said to expect the worst as she,d been in with a few clients this week and they hadn,t overturned 1 case despite having the required points.

It seems because i,ve pushed myself to go to college and get out more its counted against me and although they accepted i had mental health problems i didn,t meet the new requirements set by law to be deemed unfit for work, so no back pay and have to sign back on for jobseekers and apply for got knows how many jobs a week which now puts my college and volunteering work in jepordy.

There was one old guy on his way out in a wheelchair. He didn,t know what day it was but had also been deemed fit for work. I,ve heard a few horror stories recently about people a lot of worse off than me who are been forced back into work so i was kinda ready for it but it still gets me angry. Anyone who knows me knows i,m not an agressive person but found it hard to keep my cool when i saw the judge and woman doctor ( who seemed more interested in the security guard joking about outside rather than listening to my case which kept puting me off) walking past me outside on their way back to their cars and had a few choice words with them which i know won,t help but thats the end of that. You can,t appeal their decision. It just makes my blood boil when i see how the government cuts seem to affecting the most vulnerable people in society.

Anyways - absolutely nothing i can do it about it now so got rid off some off my frustration in the gym and paying for that a bit today. I did start on the treadmill last week. I only ran 1k at first but had to stop as my heart rate got to high. I think i was abit to keen and set off far to fast. Since then i,ve got up to 1.8k at a steadier pace although i haven,t timed myself yet as i,ve been to busy messing about with the gradients and speed but i will do in the nxt cpl of weeks.

On a good note finally got around to playing some poker tonight. Had a cpl of freerolls on other sites to play which didn,t come to anything but loaded up a cpl of tournaments on Sky.  A £1.5K GTD £10 Bounty Hunter and a £200 GTD £5 turbo. the £10 one is probably a little outside my BR but think i was still tilting about my decision and worrying about how i,m gonna get by for the nxt few months. I went out pretty quickly in that and honestly don,t think i played that great in the turbo. I just won a lot off 50/50 flips but managed to win it from 46 players so well pleased about that and that my graph is still going in the right direction

    BR - £100

Withdrawn - £64.40  ( I must have had more than 1 £2.30 token to use on the £10 game)

The aim is just to keep some money in my account whilst keep withdrawing anything over a £100. If the £100 goes then i may have to wait a while until finances improve but off to a good start

I did say i was going to stick to up to 5p/10p cash and up tp £5 tourneys but as i,ve only managed 2 sessions since i started diary again 11 days ago i decided to load up a cpl of 10p/20p games and 1 was a £6 max.  Just been really stuck for time recently so was only gonna play a quicjk 30 minute sesh tonight but after a cpl of lucky hits came off ten mins early ( a quick smash and grab)

Hopefully i,ll get a few hours one night this week to try a cpl of tourneys

Finished a cpl of quid up last night although spent a £5 token so not really a win.

Only managed 2 x £5 timed games tonight but finished £14 in profit

Couldn,t commit to tournaments as absolutley shattered. Overdid it a bit today. Finished college and went str8 to the gym for an hour. Followed that with 40 lengths swimming then a quick tea and off to rock climbing for the first time. I think the teacher had bigger forearms than popeye and i get why now. It was alot harder than i thought but enjoyed it and will definately be going back. Gonna have a nice relaxing game of snooker tommorow night. Been playing for about 3 months now but still haven,t had a break over 20 so thats another target to aim for.

    withdrew £14

    BR £100

    Total withdrawn - £108.28

Starting volunteering at the Drugs and Alcohol service on monday . (on reception) so looking to test my stress levels on a bit of poker - all good

Got a few hours to myselfso played a 20 euro free token on another site and a bit gutted to bubble the FT in 10/265. Got nearly £60 ( It was BH) but stupidly decided to play on my phone whilst going to my mates about 3 hours in. Don,t know what i was thinking - Couldnt concentrate and lost signal for a bit,and messed some hands up

Did manage a cpl of 10 euros with a cpl of free twister tokens as well earlier on (thought sky might have those twister games btw)

Played some 2p/4p and and a £5 Timed on here whilst playing and finished  +£15.54 ( if you ever get to read this Tikay - How about more timed tourneys - they seem popular)

Need to starting timing my runs this week although it wont take long. Up to 2.5k on treadmill for what seems like forever - but definately doing a 5k run soon or soonish and theres one or 2 10k ones in the new year

    BR £100

Just gonna update once a week as theres not much poker going on at the minute due to other commitments

I did play my first UKOPS the other night and got off to a good start - After an hour i,d gone from 3K to 12k with a head in the £22 BH but it all went south from there.  Think the Mini UKOPS is more my thing and i,m playing them tonight. its still beyond my BR but if it goes - it goes. I,ll just have a brk for bit.

Played an hour here and there in last week mainly on 2p/4p and lows stake MTT,s . I think about £4 down from my £100 roll but will update after mini tourneys

On life stuff health is all good although missed a cpl of session at the leaiusre centre this week - doing more volunteering at local drug and alcohol services - college going well - snooker - still can,t a brk over 20, and got a job interview at Willy Hills nxt week - not had a job interview in years - oh and Preston are 3 pts off the play offs - Life is good

Typical - just as i type "life is good " i bust out of my first mini UKOPS after building a good stack - sigh
