El Macca - (Ludlow, 12:50) 13/2 X Improved form again without winning switched to handicapping over hurdles this term. Could do better over fences now but does look to have a fair bit on his plate from his mark.

Tara Mist - (Ludlow, 15:00) 1.24/1 Winner Lots to like about the manner of her bumper win on debut here 12 months ago and placed in listed events at Huntingdon, Sandown and Aintree in the spring. Looks a good recruit to the hurdling ranks.

Encouraging hurdling debut despite finishing last of 4 here over 21f last month. Led until 3rd, remained prominent, chased easy winner from 2 out, no impression (op 9/2)
All Force Majeure - (Uttoxeter, 15:30) 0.98/1 X €48,000 fourth foal of an unraced mare. Well backed and looked above average when making a winning debut at Worcester in May. Absent since, but should be competitive under a penalty.
Quickly reached a very smart level over fences, runner-up in a well-up-to-scratch Supreme prior to a decisive Grade 2 success at Aintree. Built for fences and a fine prospect.
Tracked leading pair, very awkward 8th, not always fluent after, brought to challenge when slightly impeded 2 out, soon ridden and readily left behind (op 6/5 tchd 5/4 in places)

Un De Sceaux - (Fairyhouse, 12:05) 1/5 Winner Unbeaten over hurdles. 1/8, fell on chasing debut at Thurles (18f, soft) 23 days ago, in control when fell 3 out. Remains a top-class prospect despite that blip and taken to make no mistake this time. Made all, raced keenly, left well clear from 5th, reduced advantage before 3 out, in command travelling well before next, stayed on well from last, easily

Let down by jumping but still shaped with promise on hurdles bow latest, and longer trip expected to suit. Chased winner throughout, not fluent 7th, ridden and hung left approaching last, soon no impression, eased when no chance run-in (op Evens tchd 10/11)
Runner-up in Arkle at Cheltenham last March and put a disappointing run at Punchestown in May firmly behind him when making winning return to action in Clonmel Grade 2. Likely to stay an easy 3m.
Unbeaten, winning Grade 1 novices at Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals in the spring and returning with easy victory in Ascot Grade 2. Will have no problem with drop back to 2m. Can't be opposed.
