Stellar Notion - (Leicester, 12:40) 6/4 (Ladbrokes) Winner £140,000 purchase who made good start in light campaign last term, winning bumper and 2m Newcastle novice hurdle before second to Un Ace (getting 6 lb) at Doncaster. Promising chasing prospect.

Quirky sort though has hit form of late, confirming recent flat win when landing competitive handicap back over hurdles at Hexham last time, by ¾ length from Trafficker. One to beat if in the mood.

Pair Of Jacks - (Catterick, 13:50) 8/1 X Successful twice over hurdles at Sedgefield this year. Form patchy in that sphere, however, and let down by jumping on chase debut at Wetherby last month. Led at decent gallop, headed 4 out, chased winner to next, 5 lengths third and one pace when badly hampered by faller and unseated rider 2 out (op 6/1 tchd 5/1)

Sure to make another bold bid. Took keen hold early, chased leaders, driven along before 2 out, outpaced between last 2 (tchd 15/8)
Bitofapuzzle - (Wincanton, 13:10) 1/5 Winner Point winner who landed pair of bumpers last year, and took Rules record to 3-3 with success on return in listed event at Cheltenham last month. Very hard to beat now hurdling.

Saphir Du Rheu - (Exeter, 13:10) 5/4 Winner Highly progressive over hurdles last season, winning the Lanzarote and Welsh Champion Hurdle. Unseated rider on Newbury chase debut last week, but he remains an exciting prospect for this discipline.
Jumped well, tracked leaders, led on bit 2 out, soon clear, easily (op Evens)
Fair third in a Bangor bumper and built on his hurdling debut to score at Market Rasen in February. Below par twice subsequently during the spring, but he remains with potential now chasing.

God's Own - (Sandown, 15:00) 4/1 X Has gone from strength to strength over fences, chasing home Balder Succes at Kempton before reversing placings in Grade 1 at Punchestown in May and Grade 2 handicap at Exeter on return. Big player.
