UKOPS Best Player
36 games over 4 days.

the UKOPS Best Player is the one who scores the most points.

the scale of points is deliberately simple.  easy to remember.  furthermore, i like the idea that everyone can appreciate what is required to climb the league.

  2nd  7
  3rd  5
  Final Table  3
  Cash  1
the relationship between points is good, in my opinion.  i have checked this many times by considering different scenarios.  it is my ideal scale.  the steps in this scale are smooth.

in the event of a points tie, the ultimate winner is determined by the number of games won, followed by second places, thirds, final tables and cashes.

UKOPS Most Valuable Player
the second award is for the player who makes the biggest profit, the UKOPS Most Valuable Player.  this will be the player who earns the biggest profit from the 36 games.

the third award is for the player who takes the most heads, the UKOPS Head Hunter.

Prizes
at the time of writing there are no official prizes on offer.  the prize is the triumph of becoming the UKOPS Best Player, the UKOPS Most Valuable Player and the UKOPS Head Hunter.

i understand that the main and mini jackpot prize applies to the 8pm and 8:30pm games.

    Played 1, cashed 1, so I'm on the board! Almost felt dirty by playing a Bounty Hunter last night as normally I hate them, but I wanted to play at least one UKOPS event.

    At least the player who knocked me out used my chips well, he went on to win the tournament. Well done hhyftrftdr
