Five Bets for this weekend. Nothing too big but should be enough to turn a tidy profit.

    Birmingham v Wolves

Five of the Blues six home matches have failed to reach 10.5 corners at an average of 9.17 corners while five of Wolves six away matches have also failed to reach this line at an average of 9.0. Bet TWO POINTS on Under 10 Corners (DNB) at 1.975.

    Reading v Brighton

Five of Reading's six home matches have fallen short of 10.5 corners at an average of 8.33 corners while four out of Brighton's six away matches have failed to reach this line at an average of 10.17. Bet TWO POINTS on Under 10.5 Corners at 4/5.

    Preston v Bolton

Five of Preston's six home matches have dropped short of 10.5 corners at an average of 8.17 corners while Bolton's last three away matches have all failed to reach this line at an average of 6.33. Bet ONE POINT on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.975.

    Coventry v Peterboro

This looks good for high corners. City's last four home matches have had 12-16-11-13 corners while Posh's away corners have been 15-12-13-19-12-8-19. Bet ONE POINT on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.975.

    Oldham v Burton

This should be a low corners match. Burton have been great for low corners on their travels with totals of 9-6-4-9-9-9 while Oldham's last three home totals have been 10-7-6. Bet ONE POINT on Under 10 Corners (DNB) at 1.825.

    Correct Score Bets

    Burnley v Huddersfield 1-0 2-0
    Derby v Rotherham 2-0 2-1
    Middlesbrough v Charlton 2-0 3-0
    Notts Co v Portsmouth 0-2 1-2

    Good Luck!

You can choose how much you bet per point to suit your bankroll so you can bet £1 per point or £100 per point depending on what you can afford. The majority of my bets are recommended at One or Two Points but can go as large as Ten Points a few times per season. So if you have £100 to bet, go £1 per point; if you have £1000, go £10 per point. As your balance increases, re-adjust the amount you bet per point, say each month or three months.

My view is that you need a bankroll of 100 Points so that there is virtually no risk of going bust. Last season, the highest number of points bet on one set of matches was 32 Points (usually this is much lower - last night was 5 Points) but this was spread across eight matches and the nature of these bets means that the variance is relatively low.

How many points do u stake on correct scores? I'm guessing its 0.x?

Going back to Northamptons winding up petition in 11 days, it could go either way.

A takeover is close, but the new owners need to agree a repayment plan with local council over the £10.25m they loaned us that has "disappeared" and our current chairman has been in hiding for weeks.

At the minute there are only 2 real outcomes.

    - a takeover is successful and we can continue on our current points total.
    - the club folds on November 16th.

It doesn't even look like going into administration is an option.

    Tense times.

I brt much less on the Correct Score bets. They are really for fun but they have proved to be profitable for each of the last five seasons. I bet at 0.1 Point per Correct Score bet.

    Football League Bets

Just two bets this week with no L1 & L2 fixtures.

Nottm Fo v Derby Co (Friday)

I am going for a small bet on the number of cards in this match. This fixture has a reputation for producing a red card so the bookies have set the line at 4.5 cards. This would have gone over 4 times & under 3 times on Forest home matches this season and over 3 times & under 4 times on Derby away matches. However, one factor makes me lean towards the Unders - referee Simon Hooper. In 16 matches this season, he has only issued 37 cards, an average under 2.5 & under would have won in 13 of those 16 matches and all of his last 7. It is quite possible that it will kick off but I am betting One Point on Under 4.5 Cards at 11/10.

    Rotherham v Ipswich

I like low corners here but only just. The Millers last six home matches have had 5-8-9-7-12-2 corners while the Tractor Boys have had 7-5-8-13-6-12 on their travels. Bet One Point on Under 10 Corners (DNB) at 1.975

    Correct Scores

    Brighton v MK Dons 1-0 2-1
    Cardiff v Reading 1-0 1-1
    Charlton v Sheff Wed 0-2 0-3
    Huddersfield v Leeds 1-1 1-2
    Hull v Middlesbrough 1-0 2-0
    Rotherham v Ipswich 1-1 1-2

    Good Luck!

    Just one bet this weekend.

    Gillingham v Bury

Two side who started the season well but are gradually slipping back towards their more expected position. Bury have had repeated high corner matches on their travels. Their last seven away corners totals have been 16-11-15-16-15-18-15. The Gills match up reasonably well with three of their last four at home going over 11 corners.

Bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.975.

    Football League Bets

    Leeds v Rotherham

This should be a low corners match. Seven of Leeds' eight home matches have failed to reach 10.5 Corners at an average of 8.5 corners. Rotherham match up pretty well with all of their last five away matches failing to reach this line at an average of 8.6 corners. Bet TWO POINTS on Under 10.5 Corners at 4/5.

    Scunthorpe v Bradford

This should be a low scoring game with seven of the Iron's eight home matched dropping short of 2.5 Goals. The Bantams match up pretty well with five of their last seven away matches also dropping short. Bet TWO POINTS on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.76.

    Newport v Yeovil

Yeovil have been great for low corners in their away matches this season with seven of their eight matches going under the 10.5 Corner line. Newport are a decent match up with their last four home totals being 8-13-3-6. Happy to Bet TWO POINTS on Under 10.5 Corners at 4/5.

    Good Luck
