Satellites - What Changes Would You Like To See?

Hi everyone,

I am looking at our satellite structure for the daily main events and bigger promotions (Vegas, UKPC etc.) and would love to hear feedback from those of you who play tournaments regularly and the satellites that lead into them. If you have any comments around what works and what doesn't work then please make yourself heard. If you've got any new ideas then by all means, fire away!

My personal feeling is that the lobby can often look quite busy with too many of the same satellites taking place close to one another. I would like to streamline things and make it clearer to understand where each satellite leads as sometimes this can be a little confusing.

    Defo looks busy with sats... too many by far! Looked to play a game yest teatime and it is like 75% sats if not more....

    Maybe just grouping them together in the sat area a good thing, not clogging the lobby with them :)

    realise a lot (me included may play them) yet, it was full...
    can things be switched in to groups... i.e you have the headers for FR's, Sats ect...

    having just the tourni's in the lobby may be more appealing for the folk that do not want to go via that route, and just play a game.

    Introduce sats for the Roller much earlier. Would like to see them running all week from the Monday.

    i dont think taking them all out of the lobby and into there own section would work to be honest, i think there are alot of players who just see them in the lobby and just join because its there.

    one thing sky should do is introduce SnG sats! maybe that way you could reduce the number of mtt sats in the lobby as alot of the people trying to sat would do it through the sit and goes instead?

    would be nice to have a cash out option, although im sure lots of people would disagree..

    I think 90% of the regular sats should be scrapped and replaced with one big sat for each event every evening, and sit n go sats should just run as and when for each days main event and 9 pm and 10 30 BH's

    would be great to see daily sats for the roller as its a boring tournament when 75% of the same players are playing it.

    These are all good comments so far, have heard mentions about SnG satellites before so that's top of the list to look at.

    The 10:30 BH should also have the £12 satellites which the 9pm BH has. Asked this before but got no response.

    Also a few more High Roller sats through the weeks would be nice. In general sats in the evening are the way to go imo.

    Agree with most of this. The 6pm sats used to get about 100 runners giving 20 ish seats which was great. 

    The current 1 in 5 style is real,y good tho imo

    SnG sats PLEASE!!! Should have an added benefit of bringing more SnG traffic. 

    Great shout Harry, Roller sats all week. 

    My suggestion, £2 Roller Sat each day. Couple easily generate two seats.

    sky used to run daily sats for the primo most of them when i mean most 95% were cancelled and only picked up at weekends,spose you could try it again

    There's a £2.40 £15k Roller Frenzy (rebuy) satellite in the lobby tonight at 19:30, happy to see how this goes. Probably going to be massive value given that it's never been there before. Forum bonus for you lot!

    Couldn't we just have £5/10 rebuys with a normalish kind of structure?

    I meant the structure, as you can see I am advocating some £2 sats as well.

    yeah soz m8,but thinking i suppose you could do £5/10 sats as well for the jacs of this world with a decent STRUCTURE then everyones happy :)
