The Bromleys... After starting well, Natalie has lost a few thousand. Back to around 25k. Adam didn't start so well, and dropped to around 20k, then something interesting happened... Adam looks at KK and raises pre. One caller. Flop: J Q K - Two hearts. Bet, Call. Turn 9h Check, Check. River: X Check. Adam to act... a) What does he do? b) What do you do?

I think Adam just checks behind.

    What would I do?

My response to that would be completely opponent dependant, however checking behind is clearly safest. However, if I felt confident that I wasn't going to be check raised, then a thin value bet may be in order. Although I would feel a right plank if my opponent did come over the top :=)

    Cheers,

    Graham

Interesting couple of hands for Devil_Tear.

After being pretty much card dead for the first 2 hours, he finds KK.

    Raises pre with one caller.

    Flop: AQX

    Check, Check.

    Turn: X

    Check, Check.

    River: J

Villain bets, DT lets it go.

Should he bet the turn? Or has be lost the minimum?

    Very next hand...

    Somehow finds Aces.

    There's an early raise and a 3-bet.

    MBN.

    DT 4-bets.

    Origional raiser passes.

    3-bettor 5-bets to 8,800.

DT is sat with around 19k behind, and pushes all of it over the line.

5-betting 3-bettor goes into the tank, before passing his QQ face up.

You were there on your second guess.

Adam throws in a very, very thin value bet.

Gets a call, and is good.

Bromley has been sat to the right of Faraz Jaka for the last couple of levels.

    He's out now.

It's obvious who the better player is.

The Dinner Break (75 minutes) is nearly complete, thank goodness, it is chaos in here, utter chaos.

During the break, an announcement came over the PA system to say that the Swimwear USA 2015 contestants would now enter the poker tournament area, and - wait for it - "players can meet them in person". You hear that? - "in person". As opposed to what, I wonder?

And so, about 50 young ladies, all skimpily dressed, wobbling on high heels which must constitute a health hazard, with a complexion similar to Carlo Citrone, all pranced into the room - three of them on segways.

Meanwhile, behind them, players are busy "dunk tanking", with huge cheers & boos as unfortunates get dunked - or not - in ice cold water.

Honestly, the world has gone mad.

4 more levels to play today, &, remarkably, all of our Tenacious Ten remain in contention.

In addition, CELTICFAN, who also played yesterday, played again today, busted pre-break, but intends to fire one more bullet.

You'd not really enjoy them Alan.

They are all squeezed into glittery dresses or outfits two sizes too small, with an abundance of wobbly cleavage, ridiculously high heels upon which they can barely walk, & fake smiles. It's not an edifying sight, not at all.

What happened to the Doris Day or Julie Andrews look?

No overflowing cleavage in them days, just a good "Toni perm", a nice frilly blouse buttoned all the way up to the neck, seamed stockings (99 denier) & a flash of suspender. Ooohhh.

I'm not sure what Natterley Bromley had for dinner, but I'll have a pint of the same next time I play.

First hand back after the break she sees a limp, then a raise, in front of her, so she ships everything in with Q-Q, then gets looked up in TWO spots, by A-K & A-10.

She does a hold, & trebles up.

Then, holding K-10 on a board of K-6-2-9-K, she check-called Larry Loose every street, got to showdown & was shown 5-5. MBN.

59,000, and cruising like a boss.

    Any chip counts please Tikay?

BTW, the best latte's I found where in a little cafe (near where the car is parked outside the casino).  Had some good cakes too :)

    Chip counts on the way.

Just realised where that coffee Bar is - by the entrance to the Casino, where Madonna's silver car is displayed - right by where I enter & exit the Main Building on the way to & from my Room every day. For some reason it never occurred to me I could get a latte there. In that coffee bar.....

Natterley Bromley - 77,000. After her treble up, & that K-10 v 5-5 hand, she had Aces v Kings & held.

    Adam Bromley - 42,000

    PokerKinga 65,000

    Munchkin00 31,000

    Perizoma - 35,000, down from 70,000

    BigBob - 40,000

    devil_tear - 19,000

esox - just busted. A high board, his A-K + FD (which missed) v A-8 (two pair).

IH8PALACE - his seat is now occupied by a young lady, so I fear he has perished.

CELTICFAN - as far as I can tell, he never re-loaded during the dinner Break.

We are now on the last break of the day, so two more levels to play today.

3 survived Day 1a, & a good chance of at least the same again today. (Reverse anti-bok).
