    It is suspected that the Fire Alarm was activated by an over zealous "vape" smoker, an over sensitive smoke detector in the ceiling, or a combo of both. "Vaping" (?) has now been banned in the Club until further notice.

    I am really glad that it wasn't a real fire. As for vaping, that is a bit of a grey area. Should vapers be made to wait until the break to vape like smokers have to wait or is a a way of other players getting tells on how they play the hands?

    Wishing everyone still in the very best of luck. Run golden sky lot. As for you and all the rest of the sky reps fantastic job and well done. You will deffo need a break after this lot. When's the next big tournament? lol

    Sadly, the John Gale story ended in acrimony.

    The Dealer had a different tale - she said that John had already said "call" when the Fire Alarm activated, & the hand was then suspended.
     
    When play resumed, the hand was dealt to conclusion.

    John is very upset, & says he will never come here again.
     
    I'm not abso sure, but I'm guessing he lost the hand.
