And in better new, Redmond (Lolufold), who I reported earlier was MIA, is in fact still in, he has hiding under a giant hoodie.

    He has around 350k.

Matt Percival has staged something of a miraculous recovery, too, he was on around 100k during that ever-lasting bubble, but has 350k or so now I believe.

    Grafton shoves 14xbb 7-7 UTG

Leo McClean reshoves in position with A-K

    A-10-9-K-4

just saw a great quote from a player on twitter

"Feel for those playing the UKPC today. An hour long fire evacuation & a 90 minute bubble. I've had shorter relationships than that"

DontTelMum just got near felted, when he got it in for a million chip pot with A-K v A0-J, & Mr Villain hit his Jack.

He has 4 or 5 Bigs left.

I gather it has been decided to play three more (50 minute) levels this evening, & then draw stumps.

We were hoping to get down to 2 or 3 Tables tonight, but the fire alarm & then that oh-so-long bubble have delayed things somewhat.

We really did not want the players to have to have another late night tomorrow (or the Updaters....) but that's just how its panned out.

I'll own up to being the one tweeting about how sadly short some of my relationships have been!

That fire alarm must have been horrible for the players but an even worse logistical nightmare for those running the tournament (and reporting on it).  The updates have been really interesting.  Thanks.

I thought it was very good.

It certainly did create a few headaches for he Club, but such as they could, they handled it very well.

I'm not sure I can ever recall a Live MTT being suspended due to a Fire Alarm evacuation.

I do recall having to scarper from an illegal spieler in Bergen, Norway, (Live poker is banned in Norway) when the police suddenly arrived outside the building in great numbers, & we abandoned chips, cash & all sorts in the panic, as we did not fancy being arrested. As it happens, it was a false alarm, & the police were simply on escort duty for King Harald V of Norway, who was visiting a Warship in the adjacent Bergen Harbour.

That fire alarm would have been better going off at 1.30 am,to keep the players awake! Has anyone ever fallen asleep in a tourney?

Guy on my final table fell asleep at about 10:30pm last night.

Just kept waking up, jamming all in, then going back to sleep for a couple of orbits.

Didn't even bother stacking his chips. Assume that would waste valuable napping time!

DontTelMum eventually exited in 63rd place.

An hour earlier, his A-K v A-J coup would have given him over a million chips. Such is poker, & it played itself.

I believe he won his seat in the Sky Poker last chance "draw", so it's not all bad.

Think the last level of today - still 40 minutes distant - might be train wreck territory. The shorter stacks may well decide to spin up or bust rather than return tomorrow for what may well be another long day.

I'm currently drifting in & out of consciousness playing the £1k bounty hunter. It seems to have improved my play immensely. Might try it again.
