In Response to Re: Viva Las Vegas 2016 competition qualifiers : Chilling i've been to lots Vegas twice before and only played roulette because I was too scared to play poker this is a bad case ofavoidance behaviour because I should be called shaky Ned This could be so embarrassing I don't know if I can even pick the chips up I know this sounds pathetic but I'm just being honest I know I've got to sort this out quick so I might go to Southend Casino if so I will let it be known how it went thanks yan Posted by ned17
Hi mate, congrats on winning the package and best of luck should you go.
With regard to the shaky hand syndrome I really wouldn't worry about this at all. I have seen plenty of players, of all ages, shake as they go to count out there chips. It's pretty common.

Only played last night cash game 25p blinds min £5 max £50 to sit down, lost £40 over 2 hours, best £40 I've ever spent next step compo down there £21 entrance fee not sure when though plus only had to drink 3 bottles and a vodka lol
Its good you have played live ned and appeared to have enjoed it.The more you play live, the more comfortable you will feel for sure. Note, i did see someone post something about taking ten minutes to walk from one end , to other, in a casino in vegas. Deffo on a grander scale, but just focus on your cards and chips, and not on the crumpet, lol. It would be nice if you kept a diary and enlightened us folk who may never visit vegas. gl gl. Thanks chilling, will keep you all updated be it when I'm out there if I'm capable if not when I get back, hopefully when I'm out there, if it wasn't for this forum and the people on it I'm not sure I would even be going, if I blow up I hope I haven't let anybody down, ive done better already than I ever thought I could, ned

I wouldn't worry about that Ned! When you go into a single one off MTT you can't 'expect' to cash, even the very best MTT players in the world bust the majority of tourneys they play. In my opinion just go and have fun, play the best you can, enjoy the experience and if you manage to cash just treat it like a big bonus!
A high 'In The Money' rate would be 20% which would mean busting 4 out of 5 MTT's played, so no pressure.
Don't let anything bother you ned this is going to be something you remember for ever and there will be a lot of help from the rest of the bunch saviour the time and have fun anything else is a bonus

Cheer, don't be a troll, what does that mean? on your poker advice
In Response to Re: Viva Las Vegas 2016 competition qualifiers : Not really seen much of that on this site, Posted by ned17
I agree ned I think most of it is dealt with promptly by sky or the community itself there is always going to be a minority but usually they are more annoyed with their selves

Micky going Southend fri going to play in a Tournament, not sure what time it might finest just seeing if ur up for it, if ur u can drive to use and we will drive there if u don't drive we will pick u up, let us no if ur fancy it, ned
Played my first tournament in Southend fri night only 17 people in it basically trebled up straight away, I lasted 2 hours learnt a lot, one more trip down to Southend next week and then we are off, still having to have a drink before I sit to play though. Only problem I'm having is when players loss then blame the other player for playing bad, my opinion is your cards your money do what you like, Ned aa17

You can often get people having a moan when they lose Ned. It is just as you say though, you paid your entry fee, you can play your cards whatever way you like. Best to let it go straight over your head, it is usually a sign you are winning
Off to LV tomorrow thanks for all your support will update you'll when I can, thanks again Ned ps had my first win at the casino in southend fri cash table £106
