    There was some good news early on for Haysie who has had a near full double up in the first orbit.

    Unfortunately it was at the hands of Thereflex. Haysie flopped an opend end straight flush draw and rivered the straight. Thereflex had flopped top set which was no longer good enough.

    This left Liam with about 8 bigs which he promptly doubled up shortly after when His AK beat his opponents AK by rivering a flush.

    He was left wondering why he couldn't get lucky a few hands earlier.

    Tatopagao woke up with Aces in the first few hands and managed to get the lot in pre flop. His opponent had the Kings. 

    Tato was left with 5 bigs when the King rivered. He was somehow still in relatively good spirits after the hand and whilst trying to bust so he could re-enter he doubled twice and now has 20 bigs.

    I didn't see the hand but Tatopagao has bust. I was on my way out of the room I saw him at another table with a fresh 10k stack.

    We have 3 more guys all sat at the same table. TommyD, roscopiko and Lew11122.

    As I approached the table TommyD was firing a sizeable bet from the button into Lew who had checked the river. Lew folded a set of 5s face up. There were 3 diamonds on board and he obviously thought Mr Dyer had the goods. Tommy mucked his hand as he dragged in the decent sized pot.

    He promised to tell us what he had later if we buy him a drink.

    Ned seems to have made a strong start and is sat with 11k. He seems to be enjoying his first experience of the WSOP.

    A few more accurate chip counts:

    Ned - 17k
    Roscopiko - 8k
    Lew - 3k
    Tommy - Heaps
    Rose - 7k
    Bruce - 20k
    Gregger - 15k (after a full triple up when a King came on the river)

    RSPCA just knocked a guy out when his AK made a full house against 77. He now has 15k.

    I didn't catch the details of the hand but RLT16 managed to double up on the last hand before the first break, currently sitting with 12k.

    Undaunted, I think Rose is off to play the $185 Rio Daily Deepie.

    LyonsBob is in that already, word reaches me.
     
    That's what the trip is about really - cramming in as much Vegas poker as possible. Vegas poker is the nuts.
