The fellas went to bed as it was 1.30 and they'd been up early. Just off myself. Long old day, struggled on a tough table and decided to play tight and try and just survive. Was down to30k from 70k...got it back to 85k but dribbled a little to end on 68,100 playing 1k/2k. High point was folding AK pre and being shown KK.
Well done everyone seems like you all had a good experience and Ned you didn't go out on the first hand lol. Love the piccies as you discover you actually had no idea of what these players looked like.
The very best of luck to all still in the running and to Mr Ambo in the main, TID
Hi all, well I'm out got up to about 22k went down after that, went out on 99 heads up I raised after the flop with an A showing he re-raised I should have folded But called and the rest is history, I am now detoxing in a local clinic, I would like to thank all the people and the sky team for all their help and encouragement , I now have an even bigger challenge in life, living without alcohol hopefully I'm only joking, Ned Shakey sweaty dribbling 17
Apologies for the abrupt departure last night, a bit of a problem arose, & I needed to go back to the room. I tried to access Sky Poker from my room, to finalise the update, but it cannot be accessed from rooms in The Rio for some reason.
We certainly have at least three players from the Droplet who made Day 2......

Until Day 1c (today) completes, it's hard to see where we are with regards to prizepool & number of payouts. However, I suspect they are VERY close to the money. (See next post)
It's all a bit confusing, but if I understand the WSOP reports correctly, all remaining players are either in the money OR very close to it. 1A had 754 entries of which 120 remain. 1B had 2,180 of which 224 remain. 1C has yet to take place - that'll be today. But with 15% of the field paid, it suggests all survivors must be almost certain to cash.* * I think. Probably. T & C's apply. Chips counts can go down as well as up. Smoking is harmful. I thought they were playing down to about 16% on each day so the bubble would occur when the field all came together for Day 2

Me too, but yesterday's numbers suggest otherwise, don't they? Less than 15% survived, far less.
My view, fwiw, is that when they return for Day 2, they will all be in the money, or almost so.

In the Main, Ambo is sitting nice & quietly.
2 tables along from Ambo, Simon Trumper just busted, A-J into A-Q.
Ben Vinson has a mighty stack.
Kev Allen has around 100,000 after being short all day.
I forgot to mention Haysie was still in last time I looked, & going along nicely, if erratically & noisily, like a car backfiring.
Gl to all those that are still in.
