Hi G, Thanks to my 2nd place in the most recent Sunday Major, I'd like to add £40 to my sponsor pledge making it £100 for the winners charity. G (the other one) Posted by GELDY
Sorry for the late reply.
Congratulations GELDY!
And thank you once again for your continued generosity.
Hi all, please bare with me as I try to get a workaround regarding updating the Opening Post and the 2nd post. In the mean time, I will post the current tables below. Thx again for your patience and support.
Forgot to say, for UKOPS, all Main Events and High Rollers will be worth 10pts and a £20 donation, the mini 7pts and a £10 donation, other UKOPS MTT's will be worth 2 points and a £10 donation.
Well played SoLack on winning UKOPS 5 earning 2pts on the Tounament Leader board. Note for Aussie, will you be able to add these on the end like before?

Hi guys, apologies for the lack of updates, I will try to do more as the year concludes. (Thanks for posting latest "Tournament Wins" tables Aussie.)
I have been thinking about next year. For various reasons it has proved more difficult to keep on top of things this year and I was considering not doing it next year.
I started this on Jan 1st 2014 in memory of my late brother who died in Sept 2013, so if possible I would like to keep it going in some form.
So this is what I propose to do for 2018, it would be great if you could support it.
1) Have the two competitions (TLB and Tournament Wins Comps) as before as well as the Heads Up Cup. I will still provide trophies for all 2) Rather than have a "prize pool", all monies raised by competitors will go to their own charity. They will be responsible for making their own donation direct to their chosen charity at the end of the year. 3) Sponsors can make a donation to a charity of their choice and/or a charity of one of the competitors, or winners charity etc. They will make the donation themselves directly to the charity concerned. 4) The above means that I don't need to be middle man for the funds as I do with the current system, it also makes "gift aid" more straight forward. It also means that I don't need to chase people for payments as it will just be up to them to honour their pledge with the charity concerned.
I hope that people will still continue in 2018 and beyond under the new system. Many thanks to all, sponsors and competitors alike, who have supported this for the last few years.
Please post here if you are happy to continue as a competitor, or indeed, new blood is always welcome.
Regarding this year, the charity payment allocation will be as set out in January 2017, I will provide details of how to make payments in early January.
Thanks again for your support of this.
I hope you all have a great Christmas and all the best for 2018 and beyond!

All the best,

Jordz is in outstanding form atm and has a clear lead in both tables. (I see some decent money coming his charity's (ClickSargent) way.
FeelGroggy has also just notched up another main event win and is vying for some place money in the tournament wins comp.
Great stuff guys! Just 3 and a half months to go.
Thanks to all who have supported!

I'm tempted to get the trophies engraved already.
Will he hold on? Or will someone come out of the chasing pack?
So far Jordz has 73 points in the Tournament Wins comp, just 26 points short of the yearly record of 99 set by MattBates.
The OP has been updated with the latest standings.
Many thanks to all involved, we have now reached £2,780 in pledges.
GL to you all!
Cheers,
