On the Friday play starts at 6pm with late registration until 10.40pm - does that mean that if you won a package for the Friday you could actually get there later than 6pm and take your seat any time before late registration closes rather than you chips being whittled away in your absence from 6pm onwards?

    Hi again Pete.

We are awaiting final clarification from the venue, but we think and hope your chips will NOT be in play prior to your arrival. We can't really see why they should be, but it's their Casino Licence and their call, so we need to await their confirmation first.

Will let you know as soon as we hear.

All of the £10.50 satelites have got no breaks in them. Can this be fixed please.

What a fantastic event this sounds like. I really hope to book my place with a win in the Sunday freeroll. Here's hoping! I am sure I can do a shift swap at work should I make it and FWIW I love the fact it is deepstack. At least 500BB to start sounds deepstack to me as I have not played live so often!

In other tournaments at this casino you can take your chips up until late reg ends. Its still upto casino and sky to decide.

Players are allowed one re-entry  per flight, and can play both  flights. Players have the option to take their biggest stack through to Day 2.

    Tikay (or James)

Can you please clarify the above. I have now qualified twice for the day 1b. I have done this purely as it is a Multi entry/re-entry event, and unlike the 'package' winners, I have only won the seat value without any cash on top for expenses.

However, 3 people so far (Roughcell/Chickenisamelt & Boringjac55) have questioned this as it seems I am not allowed to play sats for expenses. I think this is totally different than playing sats for cash, but this is what they are all alluding too.

If it was just a one day FO, I would have just locked my seat up.

FTR, I will only be replying to Tikay or James on this subject, not the groupies ;)

First up, I have absolutely no axe to grind with you Max, but surely if you read this back to yourself you must see how ridiculous it sounds.
If these were sats for tournament entries (ie tickets) and could be used for multiple bullets then I could fully understand your stance, but they are not, you get the buy in paid into your account.

If you were looking to pad out your bank roll to cover expenses this could be acheived in normal MTTs, cash, DYM or any other format, sticking true to your principals regarding sats for cash, as it stands you are contributing to the very thing you have complained about in the past.

I have no issue with people playing as many sats as they wish as it improves the liquidity, and if they feel they have an edge in that format good luck to them, surely that is how we all choose which games to reg.

Would you mind just clarifying, when you say you're not allowed to play these games are you suggesting that when you won the second seat you didn't get paid the buy-in? Or are we just taking about the ethical position?

Am interested as I may decide to play more, although obviously won't bother if they're not paying out (but I'd happily swap for a day 1a entry too as long as that didn't preclude me from winning freeroll packages!).

    Thanks.

    Hiya Mike,

I was awarded the seat value for the 2nd one. So, yes, it is allowed. Looking forward to seeing you and a few others there (the ones without keyboards, that is). Congrats on winning your (1st) seat mate.

Cheers for confirming. See you there, and maybe in a few sats if I'm lucky ;)

Sats for cash and sats for expenses is exactly the same thing.

Interested to see how Maxally, with his very vocal history of being anti cash for sats and calling out players who do it, is gonna try and claim the moral highground on this one. The forum has always known him as a massive hypocrite but this is taking it up a level.

I guess when you've been a very steep ski slope for 2 years, you need all the £££ you can get.
