First case Coronavirus in Uk Jan 2020, first death March 2020.
First case Omicron in UK? Late November.
Bit early for people to be saying nothing to be concerned about.

Definitely better to take action too early than too late, though sadly whatever they do Team Tin Hat will complain as they have an unbalanced agenda. When lives are potentially at stake, it's right that Governments here & globally do their best to act in a timely manner - it would be criminally negligent not to.
Worth adding that it's so easy to point fingers & complain at every decision, but these are exceptionally difficult situations, & I don't envy those in power, even the odious & corrupt Boris Johnson.
