SPT Manchester - Live Update

Good morning to you all, Forum regulars & strangers alike.

This thread will be used for the SPT Manchester Live Update, starting tomorrow (Friday), through to its conclusion at around midnight on Sunday.

It works best if you interact. We'll answer your questions, & you can question our answers, but the whole idea is to have a little fun along the way, poker with a smile, so to speak.

If you are familiar with everything about SPT Manchester, you can skip the next few posts, as I'm going to post the facts & figures up first, structure, start & finish times etc, all boring but necessary stuff, & kinda set the scene.

Once it actually starts, Day 1A & Day 1B will be a lot of photos of the players, maybe some free to enter fun comps, & an overview of how things are going. When Sunday arrives, we'll get our serious heads on & be reporting "hands" as they happen, & plenty of photos.

Updates will mainly be by Kirsty & myself, but Mark may chip in as well if he has time.

The Sky Staff will be playing, too - Kirsty, Mark, James, myself, & of course Mr Ambo, aka Neil Channing.

Here's the man himself, in Las Vegas, beaming from ear to ear as usual.

Yes, it happens to old people, or so I'm told.

I attended his 50th birthday bash a few months ago. 50, who'd have thought?

Have to say, he does not look 50. More like 60, I'd say.
