I suppose I could flesh that out a little. Sky Mark would have gone to the Gym, he's a bit of a Body Beautiful type, Sky Kirsty was a little unwell & had an early night after heroically dealing in the Tourney for 4 or 5 hours, & Bradford Boy would have just wandered the streets in awe, having never been to a big city before.
And Sam? Abandoned us, not here. Swanning around in London last I heard.
The world of online has such poor manners & etiquette, nobody ever says good morning or good night, or how's yer father. (No question mark after "how's yer father", as it's not a question as such).
I've got the full chip counts of the Day 1 Survivors, but don't have the means to Upload them yet. Kirsty will be along at around 1230/1300 & will get them sorted for us.
A few selected chip counts for now will follow though....
Several early arrivals have asked me about my sudden exit yesterday whilst sitting on a 65,000 stack @ 400-800/100.
It was a really weird table, not as much "fun" as my first one, & all a bit serious & exciteable.
Some really strange plays were going off, so after an early skirmish when I was forced off (or misplayed) 10-10 I sat back for a bit & watched tricks to see what was what. VERY odd table.
Anyway, it was all pretty standard, though I confess it pinched a bit as I would have been sitting on a top 10 stack if. If, if, if......
It had been raised up to 2,500 in EP, flatted twice, & I had Q-Q. Including antes & blinds, there was about 10,000 in the middle. I did not fancy playing this OOP 3 way, so I overbet it & made it 12,000.
Two folds & a call, off we go.
It came 4-4-2 (ss) & my man insta bet 20,000.
Huh? 4-4-2?
All-in, call, OTB.
He has A-5ss, so he has the spade flush plus the gutterball 3. In fact, I completely forgot he had the ace to hit too.
Blank turn, & A river, off you go sunshine.
Was a bit gutted, would have had triple average. Such is tournament poker.
The chap won himself a laptop too, & was quite excited, shall we say. Hope he wins the whole thing. Think he was Canadian or somewhere equally dreadful.

Are the sky staff partaking in any extracarricular activities?

So, a very good morning to you all, & welcome to Day 1B of SPT Manchester.
Once I sort myself out, we'll get started with the witterings & prose.
There was a big boxing card on here in Manchester last night, & this car was parked smack outside the Deansgate Hilton, where I am staying.
Amir Khan, perhaps?
Lovely bit of kit, that, AMG S63, ooooohhh.
I see the cobble stones have had an upgrade since I wer a lad.
Used to love a proper, well worn, granite sett, or a nice bit of cobbling with moss in the joints. (Not a drug euphemism, please).
Did you notice that Tom wrote "Good morning"?
Isn't that wonderful.

God bless Tom.
Quick quiz for you.
How many chips here?
The answer is actually quite easy if you think about it.
