home safe after a late night exit from the game, and an early train. was great trip even without getting a cash, good to meet @sandforddd , Olly @alancarr12 and many others. I do think the GNT would have been met, or at least a lot closer if more satellites had ran , and also if more than one seat won be allowed to transfer. Still a great venue and well run tournament , Good updates.

Glad you enjoyed it.
@sandforddd had just over 100,000 overnight, but arrived an hour late, & did not last very long. As in, about 2 hands.
After 3 hours play today, the field has shrunk from 44 to 23.
20 paid, so the bubble is not far off.
@Alvez11, who had the lowest day 1B stack of just 61,500, must be circa half a milly now, & by way of a bonus he's an Arsenal fan, & they just battered arch-rivals Spurs 4-2.

@Sky_Kirsty managed to get photos of a few bubble hands. The bubble must have been very strong, the shortie survived every time, as they always seem to.

Sat to Groggy's left, with the Dealer between them, is @Granite89.
And if @Granite89 rings a forum bell, it might be because he won this year's SPT Las Vegas.
It's carnage here, despite the average stack being over 40 Bigs.
When play began just over an hour ago, we had 44 runners on 6 tables;
Now? 32 on 4 tables. Falling like flies.
The rush to the door continues, 4 more exiteers, including @EBBERDON.

Groggy just lost a 350,000 pot when his A-J made Broadway but that was not enough to beat A-K on this board.....
K-Q-Q-Q-10
21 left, so bubble time, & it's been like that for 20 minutes or more.
For some weird reason, lots of standing up & milling around goes off during the bubble.

I can't see the tables from my work-station, but a ripple of applause & a smattering of cheers tells us that.....
K-Q jammed the river, reasonably enough, but his opponent had a surprise awaiting him;
@Sky_SamT began Day 2 in 3rd place overall with 272,700, but not much has gone right for him today.
He's a super-shortie now, & with "Big Blind Ante" the Big Blind seems very big indeed.
Here, he's so short he's calling with any 2 cards, happy to be put out of his misery. And he gets his first walk of the day.
Just broken to 2 tables, so 16 left.
Alvez just went to war with the half-decent A-10, but ran into the much more than decent A-A, both black.
4 diamonds on the board, & Alzez scoops.
Brutal game.
But thats why I/you/we lovve it. I think?
Thanx for ALL your updates from ALL the SPT's & Vegas etc. etc.
