Doesn't mean he has nothing sensible to say, or that he doesn't have a particularly good grasp of a no deal Brexit.

My guess would be that you wouldn't have listened to what he had to say.

For more on this see Brexit thread.

The Daily Mail and Financial Times find space in their Brexit coverage to focus on Project Yellowhammer - the Cabinet Office document outlining the government's plans for a no-deal departure. Ministers dismissed an earlier draft leaked last month, which predicted chaos at ports, and shortages of fresh food, medicines and fuel.
The Mail and Financial Times report that officials have updated the plan - a new version of that was due to be released today.
But they say the minister in charge of Brexit preparations, Michael Gove, has cancelled the publication because it makes similar warnings. A source tells the Financial Times "the whole thing was seen as far too pessimistic about no-deal".

'Wakey, wakey Jacob Rees Mogg, the vote's happening': Leader of the Commons sparks mix of mockery and fury after appearing to SLEEP in Parliament during key No Deal debate

NEW Jacob Rees-Mogg has today been criticised for lying down as MPs held the emergency Brexit debate and appearing to go to sleep. The Leader of the House was seen reclining on the front bench, at times with his eyes closed, as the Commons discussed plans to take control of the Commons agenda and pass legislation which would prevent a No Deal Brexit.

The arrogance of untold wealth could not have been displayed any better....Brexit as and when it finally happens will continue to line his and all of the other hedge fund cronies’ pockets with money and 52% couldn’t see it coming

Chancellor announces end of austerity, largest spending increase in 15 years.

Someone with the first grasp of fiscal policy would wait until we have left the EU, and see how things look after a bedding-in period.

Assuming they were acting for the good of the country, rather than trying to buy a General Election, that is....

They also claim to be within current fiscal rules, while using OBR figures from March, which are obviously now out of date.

Throughout my life I have met people, who faced with the choice of doing something open, and honestly, or underhandedly, and sailing close to the wind, seem always drawn to the latter, irrespective of the fact that acting in this way may have provided no advantage.

It seems that sailing close to the wind is a way of life for some people.

Boris Johnson seems to be one of those people.

Funny thing his brother just resigned, citing the best interests of the country, and family tensions.

at the end of the day the MPs are doing what they think what the voters voted for even thou they think the population is wrong , im only one person but surely instead of MPs blocking no deal why not give the government a alternative or even some idea what they will agree to .. what is there plan to get the EU to come to a new agreement as they turned down TM agreement 3 times and then talk about the trade deal after all they voted to invoked article 50 .. how much damage are they doing the MPs that is by acting like spoilt kids not getting there own way … the people gave them a mandate the people voted for them based on them agreeing to uphold the mandate and now there is all this **** as they now do not want to uphold the will of the people .. I will say again I voted remain not because im educated but because better the devil you no than the devil you don't but I do believe in if there's a vote regardless of what its for it has to be carried out full stop .. what is the point of the people giving a mandate when its going to be ignored.. where is this going to end up thanks to our MPs who refuse to work together to carry out what they got elected to do F... ing joke
