If it's any consolation, your epic runbad is making my playing 22 hours of DYMs this week to lose 90 quid but hopefully get 30 quid back in a promo look solid.

We've all had days like that.
Yesterday was fairly brutal for me too. Just to mention my 2 biggest MTTs yesterday:
Grosvenor £110. Started fine. Then someone raised, I 3-bet, they called. Flop J 10 3r. All the money went in. I thought my JJ was good. The river thought otherwise.
GG $150. Going quite well. Had about 16-17k chips (start 10k). Then a good player lost a big hand and went down to 1k. He put all his chips in the next 5 hands, and knocked me out. That was (my hand 1st):- 77 lost to Q7; 77 lost to 98; KK lost to QQ; AK lost to KQ; 99 lost to KJ.
No poker for me til tomorrow. Like to watch Only Connect with my Wife & Kids anyway.
Hope the move goes smoothly, and you see your son soon.
Hi Jac Isolating when you have to pack everything for the move sounds very convenient. Not seeing Harry open his presents sounds totally the opposite.
As for the poker, I know you always doubt your ability when you have a few bad days.. It's just bad luck and variance. It will turn. Just look at the profit you make every year. You are consistently one of the best DYM players on the site.
Ignore eon about PLO8. He just wants your money.😁 He takes everyone's. PLO8 is fun though.

Hi Paul. Sorry to see you are going through a tough time on the tables at present, there’s certainly an element of weird plays which have a wtf happened there, and why.
You are much better than I at the game so I can’t really offer any advice on play, but the mental part is something I’m coming to terms with, not always .. but it does help to focus on what we have to be thankful for, especially in these strange times, please don’t read this as “ He thinks I’m not thankful for past wins, past good times” ( we try to read between the lines sometimes ey 😉)
I’m confident that this is merely a blip, and over times the cream ALWAYS rises to the top, us fish guarantee that, was ‘good’ to share a table with you last night, sorry for no hi on the table but I was binge watching a series on Netflix at the time, takes my mind off the brutality of beats, it works for me 😊.

Got someone to put 42bbs in pre with 10 9. Knew i was doomed when i saw the 6 7 2 flop. The river proved me right

I was just popping into any game that was opening, without much success. Decided I needed something to focus on so set myself a challenge.
Deposit £5 and spin it up to £500 playing just £2, £3 & £5 DYM
Deposited £5 on 17th March, as we speak just short of £300.
Must admit the DYM Streak promotion has made it a bit harder, a lot of good players have been hitting the lower levels.

I dont often post on your thread, but its a regular read for me.
Seeing how you cope with some of the cr4p that lifes thrown at you does really help others to focus positively on their own difficult times.
