I can see why you didn't shove all in pre flop; if you had A4 would have folded methinks Post flop; I can see why you would call to keep them interested to stay in the pot and yes, post flop A4 was going nowhere, even if you shoved.....
Just unlucky on the river...happens to us all at times...

This forum is a great place. There have been some cracking threads and posts in recent times. Stories of how people got into poker, Vegas trips, UKOPS side bets, the @waller02 diary and even people posting about difficult times in their life and receiving nothing but support and well wishes.
And then there's you.....
Hand after hand after hand of beats that happen to all of us, followed by beats that could be avoided if you played them better. Some of the best players on the site have given their time to try and help, why they even bothered I will never know.
Yet you continue to ignore them and carry on posting yet more standard beats or poorly played hands. You're just making yourself look like a tool. Take a long hard look at your game, take a long hard look at yourself and grow up.
All, you can try to do, is Aspire, to be World Class, Best two Pocket Cards, in Poker, J high rainbow flop,....It is just VARIANCE, thats all, always the possibilty, my heads up opponent, flopped the straight, but, Matt Bates words, etched in my mind,( I nearly folded !) you gotta, get it in,more,I AM..a lot more, and at The Poker Table XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx

Rather you didn't use my name when analysing this hand and taking some advice completely out of context. You will always lose this hand and the money will always eventually get in but shoving on that board is far from optimal unless you have specific reads on an opponent.
Now, this is advise I rarely give on the forum as most that post on the forum are passionate about poker and are looking for advice and if you want to improve then I think most people can get to a stage where they find an appropriate level to play at where they either breakeven or only lose a small bit and they can enjoy poker as a hobby. For you, I would think about giving up. You cant enjoy playing what you feel is perfect poker (even if no one else agrees with you) and constantly losing/getting unlucky. You aren't prepared to listen or improve and these threads are a waste of your time and anyone who happens to open them. By now, you could of spent 10% of the time you have posting pointless hands and picked out a few and asked for some advice on how you could of played it different.
finally got through the thread! quick comment with the first 2 hands you posted if I can remember them. you complain about someone (in the second hand) staying in with 2 pair which as exactly what you were doing in the first? only difference is the outcome? yes? or am I missing something?
