So close but @Enut beat me fair and square. It was a fun heads up match. 1 month to go, and @NOSTRI leads. We can't have that.
I really enjoyed that tournament too, a good game and a nice bit of banter when 3 handed when we all complained about being card dead at the same time! I got a bit lucky to knock out @neenio, my rag ace beating his KK AIP (that NEVER happens!). Heads up was really good, we were deep enough that there was the ability to actually play some poker, I just got my hands at the right time.
I've just realised that I never play the FTTs, or the midnight express and have rarely played the mini or main in the last few years so the chances of me adding to my 3 wins is pretty slim. After mini UKOPS last week I immediately got some grief last night as 'you promised me you wouldn't be playing as late this week'! Ah the joys of being a married poker player.
What time do the FTTs finish? I could maybe give them a go, if only to try and oust @Duesenberg from second place, @NOSTRI is looking pretty sweet with 6 wins and only a month to go.
Details of last 10 FTT finishes are as follows with latest finish at 18 minutes past midnight on the 9th of November:
I look forward to you joining us in the FTTs and remember if you play all 3 in a week you qualify for the FTT Forum competition prize and if you have 3 weeks or results there is also a monthly prize.
@Duesenberg has not played in the FTTs since shortly after his fabulous twitch adventures but I keep hoping to see him return.
Hi @giesahaun, thanks for the detailed reply. I'll try and have a dabble over the next few weeks.
With regard to @Duesenberg, I think we have to understand that he is now an internet sensation, with a stream following that is, quite literally, in excess of double figures. He's like an older, balder version of a Kardashian, or should that be Cardassian? Anyway we are lucky that he still acknowledges our existence and should be truly grateful if he occasionally sees fit to join us at the tables.

@Duesenberg is genuine and entertains and informs for his personal enjoyment and does this very well.
I especially enjoy @Duesenberg when he makes his face in front of the camera as it is something I have always done to cheer up the missus and myself. Yes, we are truly grateful for people like @Duesenberg.
Well it's the first I've heard of this. The notion of @waller02 beating someone HU seems rather far-fetched to me.
Is it wise to be trying to wind me up while I hold all the cards? There are some amazing outfits on Amazon btw, but I'm sure you're well aware of that as you were picking mine out when you thought you had won.

Amazon? If I was in your shoes I would be looking at some very specialised stores for Dues's outfit.
Thanks to everyone who played in the competition in 2020; which was a **** year on the majority of fronts.
@NOSTRI wins £50 from my own weekly shopping bill and also scoops up a main event £33 ticket courtesy of @Tikay10 and the team at Sky Poker. @NOSTRI can you please get in touch with Tikay directly.
Hopefully Nostri will play a £55 freeroll with the money and scoop the lot
Any suggestions for any new challenges for the year ahead?
I was a little deflated to see I got relegated from 3 wins to 1 in the final listing. I appreciate that your decision is final and you may therefore have quite understandably disqualified me from the one in which I beat you heads up, but can I put an objection in about the other one?
If you're going to run something similar this year, which I would think would be a great idea, maybe don't include the FTTs as they are a separate challenge in themselves, with their own prizes etc and may well be below the usual buy ins for most of the people that joined in this? Just my thoughts.
I'd like to see the 7.18 £5.50 PLO8 in there too but I suspect I might be in a minority of one with that suggestion!
Once again thanks for running it and congrats to @NOSTRI for his victory.

Ive won 2 megastacks in the summer.
They had both had 100+ runners so the wins were epic.

I managed a 3rd tonight in the 7@7
You got any proof it happened? Any witnesses?
Midnight express in the bag!
5th in tonight's Main for £560. Obviously don't win the flip v @MattBates, in fact he flopped a set (or turned one I can't remember).

On the face of it it doesn’t matter, but I want it known that I finished higher than @waller
Got to take the wins where you can find them
