It's heaving here, the Alternates list has been over 40 all afternoon. Not a good customer Journey, but can't be helped, never expected so many players.
I'll be updating once I'm busto, & definitely tomorrow.
In a raised pot, I had the A-Q of hearts on this gorgeous 2 heart flop. I made it 3,000, he made it 7,000, & we got it all-in on the flop for a 50,000 pot.
"Give me a heart please Dealer" I pleaded. No hearts came, but the old runner-runner gutter was a pleasant surprise.
Sadly for me not to be busted both Friday and Saturday ran really well in some spots not so well in others however had so much fun.
For me this was the most fun and the most comfortable I have felt playing live poker in my life. My first ever live poker experience was in Vegas in the summer of 2008 and my next after that was back home in Glasgow in 2018 and since then all I have played is 2 SPTs in Glasgow, the SPT Grand Final last year and then this week. Although I enjoyed playing them previously I have never really felt comfortable at the tables and would get embarrassed if caught bluffing etc however this weekend was different and was very enjoyable.
Having started playing poker after a 2 year break between 2016 and 2018 when the previous site I played on closed and had family commitments etc until I started enjoying playing again on Sky Poker I know I have to improve my game and this weekend has given me the hunger to do so.
I am not sure If I was chatting to any Sky players at my tables good luck to all left.
I did chat with @Titan9062 (did not catch his name). This is his first live tourney after winning a few seats on Sky and he is loving it (flopping quads and doubling up helps). Not sure if he gets involved in the forum therefore if anyone knows his could they wish him luck from me never got a chance to see him before I left. Hope he does well he was buzzing.
Anyway enough rambling from rambling from me will enjoy my day in Manchester with my family and might sneak a few tourneys in on my iPad and then home on Monday.

Chip counts for Neil Channing, Sky Sam & Tony Kendall don't appear to be available due to technical issues.
Plenty of familiar faces arriving here, including dollie, Mother, HAYSIE, Pommy, Donald, Tina, pompeynic & EssexPhil.
Big queue at Reception, so plenty more will be in soon.
GOOD LUCK to all the SKY Players today, especially all those I know
