Pro tip for the scaling and playing multiple tables - have the scale set to whatever opens the Sky tables at your preferred size. It saves you having to constantly resize every table.
The scaling is perfect for my tables on the download client so I might try scaling chrome only. Btw I'm not being even more stupid than I already appear regarding audio? The monitor definitely doesn't have speakers 100% but is there something I'm missing with the pc (HP Pavilion Power 580) just asking before I buy speakers later.

Very nice but way overkill for my needs, which will basically just be table alerts and a bit of spotify (which the missus wouldn't let me have on too loud anyway).
I've seen some I'm getting for 40 quid later.
Thanks for all the help and advice, appreciate it.
Yeah, I right clicked on it and it said the audio was via my monitor which has no speakers but a headphone jack. I can listen through both the monitor and the pc with headphones so I def need speakers. Tried all the audio options in case the pc did have built in speakers but they don't (unless I missed something).

Yo Rik Ryan. I have got our top IT expert here with me and regarding your spec....audio.....and general set up of you new pc, you need to implement the following instructions before purchasing anything else...
Waller sorry hadn't been on the forum and missed your monitor issue lol. I managed by luck to plug into the correct port on the pc when I bought it but a couple of months ago I moved my pc to another room and yep you guessed it plugged into the non graphic card slot and had the same issue took me a day and an embarrassing visit from a geek friend to discover my error

The setup runs really well, but I do have one issue. Once, and sometimes twice, during each session the download client just stops working and a box pops up saying close program. I then have to restart the download client.
Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix? It's a bit annoying cos it takes up to a minute for all the tables to reload.
Software crashes like that are almost impossible to fix just by tweaking anything. You can try reinstalling the software. They tend to randomly disappear on there own either when Sky updates their software, which is not going to happen in Sky's current incarnation, or a different Windows build is released.
Conflicts can sometimes do it. If you are running anything else like edge or chrome or any other programs then try closing them one by one when you play and see if you can figure out if any of them are causing the crashes.
Weirdly I'd bet if you totally reinstalled Windows from scratch then the crashes probably wouldn't happen even tho you'd be using the same build of both softwares.

I'll try reinstalling first. I have forum open on chrome, I'll close that as it's not required while I'm playing. The only other programmes I have open at the same time are skype and spotify, both of which are a must. If none of that works then I'll just have to live with it. Thanks.
