The series lasted for six solid seasons, telling its story without ever outstaying its welcome. If you enjoy the idea of a crime drama mixed with a western, and have a thing for well written characters and dialogue, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The series was adapted from Elmore Leonard's short story 'Fire in the Hole'.

On a side note, just read the latest Peter James "Inspector Grace" book. Superb.
The only downside was waiting for the next episode.
The last Roy Grace book I read was book 10.

I have recently read a couple of series by Peter Grainger, but dodged the one about the two old dears.
