Person of Interest - 5 long series of quirky innovative action packed crime story brilliance. Individual episodes are great on their own but stick with it for the full 5 series and you will see all the seemingly unrelated strands come together due to excellent scripting and character development.The series does also come to a conclusion with a finale rated 9.8 on IMDB.
Fargo - Outstanding offbeat series which has a new season coming out soon. "Various chronicles of deception, intrigue and murder in and around frozen Minnesota. Yet all of these tales mysteriously lead back one way or another to Fargo, North Dakota."
I assume everyone has seen Narcos and Breaking Bad? I also enjoyed the respective spin offs of these shows too... Narcos: Mexio and Better Call Saul.
If you want an unusual film to watch that you may have overlooked then The Man From Earth is worth a go. A low budget film from 2007 in which a professor who is moving on after 10 years tells his colleagues he is thousands of years old. His colleagues - experts in many relevant fields - try to disprove him while tanning a fine bottle of Whiskey.
