Bit of a corker last night with 691 points being distributed today and 8 final tables. Certain people in the league are not giving up without a fight and I love to see it.
@YouMad showed up in 3rd in the Mini Sharpshooter. That should really be worth more points but it isn't. He also took 4th in the £100 Deep Stack. I'm not mad about that at all. @MynaFrett was on fire last night, with a final table in the early £500 Bounty Hunter, a win in the £300 Deep Stack, and one sad little point in the Mini Sharpie. It's always nice when someone finally starts meeting your expectations. More final tables courtesy of me, @Danyo0, @Swog and @DARK4NIGHT.
Sad news for @Danyo0, who has been pushed down to second and replaced by @MynaFrett, who takes a 68 point lead. That means @Inachair is down to 3rd and @jcrazar1 just about holds on to 4th. It's still all very close heading into the final night and a good session from any of the top 5 or so could make them a winner.
In other news, the 20:45 £5 Bounty Hunter that we optimistically kept on the schedule has once again shown up for Sunday. That's looking like it only runs Sundays now, so keep that in mind. The 20:15 £5 Deep Stack has now not been seen for two weeks must be assumed dead.
Lastnight I had another hard lesson. 11th players left, 11th place. 1st hand back after the break. 10 get paid. I look down At AK have about 20ish bb. I shove. Big stack 5x my chips calls. He flips 8’s and I don’t catch a card.

Being an MML player I am now paying attention to these mistakes. I could have taken a better line though doubling up came priority to cashing at that moment. The MML league is the place to become a better player.

Big shout to Nostri for talking the time each morning to update the results and deliver surperb analysis of each evenings events. It's great to see that everyone is very grateful for the effort that you are putting in to this wonderful league.

Being an MML player I am now paying attention to these mistakes. I could have taken a better line though doubling up came priority to cashing at that moment. The MML league is the place to become a better player.
I'm no expert these days, but I don't think that necessarily is a "mistake". You were flipping, & a 2XUp puts you right in the mix to win it. It was the call you wanted really, not many better spots than that will come along. If you turn the spot down then blind down to 5 or 6 Bigs you'd be thinking "I wish I'd jammed that AK".
They may come along & correct me, but I think most winning players would be happy to get it in there with AK.
Sometimes we make the correct play but don't win. That does not make it a mistake.
Thanks tikay, On reflection i think the ‘mistake’ was more of a wish I’d not been soo aggro. Being In it to win it this seemed a great spot to double up to safety then reevaluate and push on. At the same time A reminder AK ain’t a made hand. Everyday is a school day 🤯

@jcrazar1 feel your pain. Found myself in this situation a lot. Very rare I think getting it in pre with AK is a mistake with 20bigs unless crazy ICM situation?
