misterpj, Iβm interested on your take on the Lingfield race today. Missed it live though, as woke up a 3.30pm.
Although Lingfield states there is no draw bias,there obviously is, as races are led mostly on the rail. Adhab had to use up a bit of early, and had to get across and up on the pace. Imo, Crowley rode the perfect race, kicking on just before the bend. First run, thatβs got to be a good thing. Indeed, it was unlucky. But, at the death, the whole field were closing in, which means the horse had barely anything in hand. To land a touch, although that doesnβt apply here, you would need about 7+lbs in hand, just to land a touch, trouble in running etc.You need a lot in hand.
Adhab doesnβt appear to be progressing, judging by the ratings.
Just interested on your take on the race, as write ups are often not accurate.
