The giant killing stopped as ED wins a close encounter showing picking the right captain FERNANDES 22 against GREALISH 2 is very important.

Again the away side edges through with Louis winning despite having GREALISH as captain. However a very strong defence saw him through.

ANDY is obviously going for the double as another strong performance saw him defeat DARSHAN who would have beaten everybody else bar one other. Draws can be cruel but this game rested on ANDY having SON in his team whilst he was left on DARSHAN'S bench.

BIG SIX OR TOP SIX ?
Well most of our top 6 did better than the big six this weekend with PETER F- NOEASYMANE 84 regaining top spot thanks to SALAH (C) 16, MADDISON 16, MARTINEZ 11, JUSTIN 11 AND KANE 9.
Second highest scorer was WHERE IS ME PUP - DERMOT IVORY 75 but that was with a bench boost which only produced 8 points with three on the bench not playing. Luckily he had SALAH (C), VARDY (13) AND KANE 9 to offset that decision.
Wooden spoonist was GARY PLATT- GRIFFIN CLAW 36 which was not helped having JIMENEZ(C) 0 and two other long term injuries GOMEZ and VAN DIJK on the bench .
Top individual scorer was KANE (18) (C) for SMARTGOATKIDS.

As goalies and captains were the highest scorers this week in a low scoring week it begs the question why dont more of us combine the two. Not needing to PETER F- NOEASYMANE 55 extended his lead at the top thanks to BAMFORD 12(C), SON 9 AND MARTINEZ 8.
He was closely followed by ED GREENFIELD- ED IN THE CLOUDS 54 with SALAH 14 (C) AND POPE 11.
Top scoring player of the week was AUBAMEYANG 20 (C) for down near the bottom MARK MACPHERSON - SPARKYS XI 49.

MIDFIELDERS RULE OK !!!!!!
Four scores over 90 this week and all four had FERNANDES (C) 34, SALAH 16, GREALISH 10 as the backbone of their side. The best with 99 was ADAM -IAMSHORTIE who also had ROBERTSON 10 AND WILSON 9 and he only had 10 players on the pitch !!!
Second on the week was DARSHAN - EYE LEVEL LEICESTER 95 who also had WILSON. The other two above were OLI -CROWNPRINCEWISHLIST 92 also WILSON and PAUL-TIERNEYING JAPANESE 91 with MANE (9).
WOODEN SPOONIST was MARK and SPARKYS XI 13 who now has 10 injured players in his squad of 15 and I thought I had been unlucky this season !!!!!
