Defenders ruled the roost this week with most of our teams relying on them with COVID cancellations messing up the strikers. In fact top player in our league was DALLAS 12 who was only matched by people who had FERNANDES as captain.

Nine entrants used their Free Hit this week but the top scorer I AM SHORTIE - ADAM 56 didnt and gained the honours thanks to KANE 8 and a host of Man City 6 pointers. League leader NO EASY MANE - PETER F 55 did use his Free hit and came second whilst increasing his lead at the top . He Had those City 6 pointers and KANE (C) 16 who was the top individual scorer os the week. Special mention to GARRYOWEN BOYS CLUB - TERRY who scored 37 points from only six players, it will be interesting to see if he benefits from using his Free hit later in the season. MISHIT was certainly MEADOW X1 - ERIC who used his wildcard only to find he was only putting out a team of 4 for the games, that he scored 22 was a feat as well.

DARSHAN- EYE LEVEL LEICESTER 65 moved from 2nd last week to first this week thanks to FERNANDES 12, OLLIE WATKINS 11, SOUCEK 10 AND MARTINEZ 10. He was closely followed by PAUL GARNER- TIERNEYING JAPANESE 63 with FERNANDES, WATKINS, MARTINEZ , MANE 9 AND BEDNAREK 9.

AS BAMFORD AND DEFENDERS REIGN SUPREME
Top scorer was ED IN THE CLOUDS with 58 points thanks to that man BAMFORD 8 and a defense of 31 points, DALLAS 12, ROBERTSON 9 AND FABIANSKI 8. Second on the week was ANDY - SON OF A KLICH closed up on the top place with 57 including BAMFORD and 32 defenders points with a wide range of 6's and ROBERTSON (9).
Defenders ruled the roost this week with most of our teams relying on them with COVID cancellations messing up the strikers. In fact top player in our league was DALLAS 12 who was only matched by people who had FERNANDES as captain.
Wooden Spoonist this week was GARY- GRIFFIN CLAW with 19 from 6 players.
I feel sorry for anyone who played their jokers on a disrupted week.

Funnily enough my dad managed to lose in the cup - not to a team with more points, goals scored or fewer goals conceded - but on a "virtual coin toss". Wonder what the RNG is like there.

Nine entrants used their Free Hit this week but the top scorer I AM SHORTIE - ADAM 56
didnt and gained the honours thanks to KANE 8 and a host of Man City 6 pointers.
League leader NO EASY MANE - PETER F 55 did use his Free hit and came second whilst
increasing his lead at the top . He Had those City 6 pointers and KANE (C) 16 who was the top individual scorer os the week.
Special mention to GARRYOWEN BOYS CLUB - TERRY who scored 37 points from only six players, it will be interesting to see if he benefits from using his Free hit later in the season.
MISHIT was certainly MEADOW X1 - ERIC who used his wildcard only to find he was only putting out a team of 4 for the games, that he scored 22 was a feat as well.
One thing I didnt know is that you could change your team name and I was surprised to see DARSHAN was now RED STAR BELGRADE instead of EYE LEVEL LEICESTER. Obviously not abiding to Lockdown travelling to Europe.

Or is he? as although ANDY- SON OF A KLICH was top scorer of the week with 125 points, he used his Bench Boost which only scored 4 points and still couldnt overtake leader PETER. Having said that it was an excellent effort with STONES 27, MADDISON 17, DE BRUYNE (C) 16 AND COUFAL 12.
A close second on the week was OLI- CROWN PRINCE WISH LIST who moves up to 3rd in the table thanks to STONES, DE BRUYNE (C) AND COUFAL and brilliant use of the bench boost with 27 points coming from it mostly due to ANTONIO 18. Similarity breeds contempt as a close third for the week was MARK- HANDS OFF ARE ROCK with 122 and yes you've guessed it STONES AND DE BRUYNE(C) but he did go different with GUNDOGAN 18 and JUSTIN 14.

What with two terrible refereeing performances, a goal fest at United and Liverpool losing at home again it was a strange week.
