I played golf with a Radio Derby presenter last week. He was a nice guy but a bit mean. He said he’d get me a round at JCB with him. Doubt he really meant it. It’s impossible to get a round there for oiks like me.
It’s very new but already rated as possibly the best course in England.
    It looks absolutely sensational

Nothing beats a traditional links course........ give me Muirfield or Royal Birkdale any day of the week. :)

    Yeah true
What’s the best links you’ve played?
It probably has to be Turnberry for me, even though I was shocking

    I'd say Muirfield

Such a clever design....Front 9 clockwise around the outside of the course, then the back 9 anti-clockwise inside the Front 9, so the wind is always coming from a slightly different direction.

....... tho' I do love Royal Birkdale...........and my Dad lives around the corner :)

North Berwick and Dunbar are good fun too

Pebble Beach is pretty awesome, but not quite a traditional links

Dunbar is a lovely track. The pro there grips the club with left hand below his right hand.

I am well aware of the difference, and am quite happy to stick with waffling, thankyou.
In fact, if waffling was ever included in the Olympics, you would be nailed on for the gold medal.
Betfair would know better than to even offer any odds.
