There will not be a crash unless the Mortgage lenders decide that properties are overvalued and/or people can no longer afford the same multiples on earnings and restrict lending criteria.
Prices seem crazily high to me. Particularly in London.
I had a look for a new deal on my gas and electric yesterday. I wasnt going to commit to one until the government announce their support for consumers today, I currently pay £124 per month, fixed until the end of March. They offered me 4 options which varied between £300 fixed until Feb next year, £275 with boiler cover, fixed for 2 years, £275 without boiler cover also fixed for 2 years, or £147 if I dont commit to a deal and revert to the standard variable tariff.
I had a quick look this morning. Fixed for 1 year is now £285 Fixed for 2 years £262 Standard variable £224.

'A sick April Fool's joke' that adds insult to injury: Families are left furious at MPs' £2,200 pay rise due to come in next month on day household energy bills will rocket as cost of living crisis hits home
The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority said politicians' salaries will go up from £81,932 to £84,144 and MPs will receive £2,212 more for the year from 1 April 2022. Peers are likely to see their tax-free daily 'attendance allowance' increase by the same proportion, to £332. Ipsa chair Richard Lloyd said it was important MPs are paid 'fairly', arguing their duties helping constituents 'dramatically increased' last year. Downing Street previously urged 'restraint' on MPs' pay this year despite the cost of living crisis, while Keir Starmer has called for a freeze. But families have been left 'infuriated' after it was announced Commons salaries are being hiked at the same time as voters face a painful £12billion increase in national insurance and soaring energy bills. The average household energy bills are set to hit £3,000 this year and petrol could reach £1.70 a litre after the price of oil passed $100 a barrel, experts have warned. Meanwhile, Labour MP Zarah Sultana (bottom right) slammed the Commons pay rise and branded it 'wrong' because 'ordinary people are facing a Tory cost-of-living crisis'. She also added she will be donating her £2,200 to foodbanks and other local charities.
Just received the costs for the planned energy rises from British Gas for my Gas & Electricity supply, the new yearly estimated cost is an extra £775 which breaks down to £260 for gas and £515 for electric.

A lot cheaper broadband out there. The product isn't as good as it was (content wise), and you can see most stuff on cheaper platforms.
Oh....... and when you ditch them, they offer you far cheaper subscriptions to try and keep you
