Ali Mallu continues to pick up the right hands in the right spots, this time he has A-K (MBN) v the A-J of Billy Berry, & the King in the window ensures no drama.
That king in the door ensured it was a rapid exit movement for the 8th place finisher.
I guess you can't blame players for chopping up what has effectively become their money........BUT.......from the outside it looks like players afraid of a loose cannon. Alli Mallu is a very distinctive player, knows the cards inside out and has no fear and is a north west legend,,,,and again...BUT....every player who has ever shared a table with him knows, he will give you a chance, because he's not afraid to get those chips in behind. So when he's chippie with the other 4 players level, he's pressuring to get the maximum share not simply because he's biggest stack, he's trading on those 4 all being afraid of finishing 5th, where the lowest cash obviously lies. And fair play and well done to Alli for knowing the Meta situation, but to be honest, for the other four, hey, you only pass this way once, so i gotta admit, disappointed that at least one of you could not have said, no deal! But like i say it's your money. Wp All. Memfno cashed for £550, so what the **** do i know! Much love all x

Ali Mallu says....
"Tell you what I'll do, I'll take £15,000 & the rest of you can do what you want".
Deal agreed I think, details to follow.
Looks like 2nd to 5th are all taking very close to £8,000 each (give or take a few hundo) with Mr Mallu taking, I think, £14,000.
Will confirm once agreed, but they seem to be there.
Presumably they'll play for the trophy.
Mr Mallu

Those interested in these things, or who are not overly familiar with Ali Mallu, here's his Hendon Mob.
His ratio of wins to FT's over a 20 year period is exceptional.

Meanwhile, they are still playing for the prestigious high value Trophy.
Somewhat belatedly, here's the Day 1B V Blog thing;

Maybe they have gone to do some more business, & maybe chop the trophy up.
Thanks so much for ALL your work Tony @Tikay and Sam @IVIystical ......its very much appreciated for those of us who couldn't make it
Looking forward to the next one, hopefully near to Will @HANSON and my Birthdays in February
And in the "Trophy Tourney" Ali Mallu busts another & we are Heads Up. For the trophy.
