I watched you play the last 3 levels of a £2 hu hilo game yesterday. @TheWaddy

You flopped the nut straight holding 23xx on A45 flop. Have a look back.
You scooped and won the game.
Judging by the amount of "advice" you were giving to your opponent. I assume he was a very poor player.
This whole thread started with you continuously say this never ever happens.

It has happened in 100% of games I have watched you play.

    Maybe you just "forget"

If you could fill me in how a flopped wheel results in me not getting anything back, maybe we can talk. Even EssexPhil said this, its a really silly comment......

If you flop the nut straight in a heads up Omaha hi lo game, i have never seen it win any part of the pot in hundreds of the same situation.

You flop straight heads up... you lose by river... thems the sky rules, there is no variation of the result of this hand.

ONLY ONE FACT BEING SAID HERE.... YOU FLOP NUT STRAIGHT HEADS UP, BY THE RIVER YOU WILL WIN NO PART OF THE POT. I am making no claims that i played great, he played bad, i have better equity and im unlucky not to scoop. None of these things i said.

Those are quotes from three different posts of yours on just the first page.
You scooped the whole pot in the game i saw.

Do you now accept that these and many more similar comments by you are complete b.ll..ks?

    Just to confirm.
Did you flop the nut high straight?
Did you then win the high pot with that nut high straight?

This is what you say never happens.

err yes your a bit late on this one, its been fully discussed with EssexPhil earlier.... bout a stupid a comment anyone can make... wot u want me to say. i didnt get anything back?

The post was for omaha hi lo, the clue is in the title of the thread. Too many people trying to post clever comments, although they have never played or understand the terms.

The hand you refer to is not what a hi lo player would call 'a flopped nut straight'. If you described it as a flopped nut straight, the other players would be licking their lips at the reveal that this player is not a hi lo player. That hand is the nut lo, or a flopped wheel. It can not get nothing back. The other guy is not scooping here.

A flopped nut straight, i would be talking as making the hi hand only and not being a major low also. Otherwise i would not be concerned and posting this thread if i only went on to win the low hand, would i?

I know there will be a queue of noobs wanting to say yes but no, but your just commenting on a game you have never played, not understanding the terms, so maybe leave it to the hi lo players... otherwise you may look daft.

Do you want first to 50/100 over a few weeks

    Here my offer
    First to 50 or 100 @1.05 hu
    2table minimum
And no chatting when we are playing
Must play 25 games in a week let me no if you are up for it

Yeah not interested, i probably average 3 games per day... you as a compulsive gambler play more than this at one time, 6 tables i think u said yday. I play for leisure and to make some holiday money, i play on my terms and not other peoples and thats why i have success on a difficult platform.

Playing a 'button presser' who barely has time to look at his holding and going manic, gambling it up, is not going to clear what i can comfortably earn... especially with online decks as they are.

Where are you planning to go with the holiday money that you make?
    Maplins in 2034?

£3 x 365 days of year is £1095... i usually play til ive cleared this... its mostly 3 or so a day, it may take me 7 or 8. I played 3, won 3 today. I may play a couple at around 3pm. Other days that would be it. The resulting £1000 freeroll, i made £53 for the week last time i qualified.

That is enough for holiday spends for me, ive just booked Vegas on Virgin Holidays, 10 days for £860. Its a good enough holiday for me, good luck to those who think this is not a holiday and do a lot better, but it does me.

I go to Paris the end of Sept, 4 nights at Newport Bay Disney. I just paid the half remaining on the hol by drawing £500 out my account.

Im happy with your taunts, im happy with paying for these hols via my account.

Theres some very bitter, quite nasty people on Sky poker isnt there? We try and talk a bit of poker and it ends up with personal insult....every time.

Driven very much by alcohol, drugs and uncontrollable gambling i suspect, all seem to have a story if anyone mentions it. Im clearly not in company thats my bag. Have a good time meeting up guys, its not a room id like to be in, thats fo sure!

  • TheWaddyTheWaddy Member Posts: 1,592
I think he is calling me a liar.... You of course, are a proven dregs of society by getting chat banned for your unacceptable behaviour. So thats the first two accounted for, just for talking about poker hands in an open forum.

Nice people. Wouldnt like to meet them.

Wouldn't you have to play 7 (£1) games every day, and 8 (£1) games one day to make your 50 points for the REWARDS Freeroll?

If you make £3 per day every day, would it be too adventurous to aim for £4 profit per day?

Sorry I missed the part that jac35 said you're lying or am I reading a different post to you

TheWaddy, I have to say that you are starting to cross a line now.

Just because someone plays 50 + games a day does not allow you to call them compulsive gamblers, alcoholics or drug users, neither does it negate their opinion.

You appear now to be moving goalposts, contradicting yourself by refuting all evidence against your initial claim that Skys RNG is fixed and when called out you do a runner because you seem to fear that other players will beat you in a challenge.

A challenge I would add that is your game and one you claim that non players should not even comment upon.

Instead you maintain that all people holding opposing views are degenerates, with dependency issues, dangerous ground my friend, especially as many of these are good, steadfast people.

By all means continue your argument, that's you right in a free society, however unpopular your view might be. But rein it in with the digs yeah because that's only ever going to end one way buddy.
  • TheWaddyTheWaddy Member Posts: 1,592
I wouldnt judge it solely on opposing views, just on the fact that when someone has mentioned addictions theres been a helluver lot of people who comment on my posts that have said they have had the same experience.

I havent presumed anything, it was just info they have chosen to offer up. I have not based this on the fact that they play 50+ games a day!???

How can i cross a line when its what they themselves have written? I have never decided, to mock them for it, or is it something that would cross my mind to do so.

Unfortunately, they like to do the personal insult with me tho. Which is a shame. All in all, they are not people who i would like to socialise with.

Now let me look at the challenge. I make holiday money by playing the way i play, in the number of games i like to play, with a deck that is not performing as maths dictates.

You are still surprised that i would turn down a game that involves everything that is not my game. Playing at least 2 at once. Playing 100 games in a short space of time. Playing an opponent who likes to gamble it up, who has not got time to look at his hands to make an informed decision cos of the number of tables he has open.... with a deck i have said i have a problem with not allowing opponents giveaway really cheaply.

So you want me to play far more games than i usually would, against a player that is typical of the one i experience that the deck will give runners at an alarming rate. Not a profitable suggestion for me.

Youre just totally on the moon lad.... i would say that the fact he has said 'where are going, Maplins'.... suggests my games are not going to generate enough holiday money... ie im lying when i suggest it does.

How would moon boy read it?

I did say 'last time i qualified for the freeroll', did i not? Been around 3 weeks since i last did and i went £30, £10, £10, £1, £2, 0..... I dont qualify most weeks, but when i do it supplements the profit. Most times i make it, its double points for the month. The answers are there before you post, they really are!

Clearing 3 a day is not easy, otherwise you would all be doing it, regardless of the level? 4 a day, then id be playing more than i want to, a big difference... I have other things to do, like making real money working dont u know.....

So he was lying or you're reading between the lines. As I said you're a hypocrite as you're trying to insult me. Cry when people make comments about you, but quick to throw them back, the Maplins comment is banter and you took the bait, but have a great day and keep saving your pennies

It was a HU HiLo game. The clue was in the post where I said it was a HUHiLo game.

Really? Never played and don't understand the game? Leave it to the hi lo players?
