As the title says, post anything related no matter how far removed from the actual football it is, as no doubt there will be plenty of things to post in the coming month, I'll start off with this one, why, actually why ?

Indeed, "why"?

Some teams have very few players going. As an example, Newcastle only have 5 players at the World Cup. And at least 2 of those-Pope & Wilson-are unlikely to be overly-exerted. Also surprising that only 7 Liverpool players are going to the World Cup.
This really could be Arsenal's year. There may well be 10 going, but how many of those names are likely to be playing? Partey & Xhaka-for as long as their countries are in. Saka & Saliba? Possibly. But the likes of Gabriel, Tierney, Zinchenko and Odegaard are resting, as their countries didn't qualify or were not selected..
Compare/contrast with Man City. 16 going. Of the 8 not going, only 2-Mahrez and Haaland-are anywhere near their first team.
Should make for an interesting season.
