Former Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann has been linked with the Spurs job, with current incumbent Antonio Conte believed to be nearing an exit
As Tottenham eye talks with former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann, it has been claimed the German once owned a Spurs shirt.
Nagelsmann has found himself on the lookout for a new job after being sacked by Bayern despite their impressive Champions League form. The reigning Bundesliga champions won all six group games before eliminating Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16, but have fallen off top spot in the league.
Is it time to bring back the old fashioned Ticket Touts outside the grounds ?
Arsenal tickets for final day clash against Wolves going for as much as £53,000 online with supporters desperate to be in attendance if Gunners end their 19-year Premier League title drought.
With tickets for the final game of the season going on sale to some club members on Tuesday, they were immediately snapped up in seconds.
However, owing to the club's performances on the pitch this campaign, tickets have been increasingly hard to come by for many supporters - with fears that bots are being used by touts to secure the much-desired tickets.
Almost immediately following Arsenal's release of tickets to members for the Wolves clash heavily-inflated match tickets started appearing online on ticket touting websites.
Some individuals on social media reported seeing some going for as much as £25,000, while others trumped that by posting a screenshot of tickets going for more than double that, at £53,000.
The most expensive ticket for Wolves, a 'Category B' fixture on the club's A-C scale, in the centre of the upper tier bought through Arsenal would set an adult back £75.50.
A centre lower tier ticket for the clash, which is being sold for £53,000 online, should be setting a supporter back just £41.50, meaning a fan could buy the equivalent of 1,292 face value priced tickets for the price of the touted one.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter is now the fourth best-paid manager in the world.
Chelsea manager Graham Potter is the fourth best-paid manager in the world – and even earns more than his predecessor Thomas Tuchel, who now manages Bayern Munich.
L'Equipe revealed the list of the world's top managerial earners on Thursday, with a trio of Premier League bosses predictably taking up three of the four top spots.
The French newspaper have claimed that Potter earns a whopping £993,117 per month (£229,180 a week) with the Blues, while Tuchel collects £878,965 every month (£202,815 a week) at the Allianz Arena.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola takes top spot in the Premier League, with the Spaniard earning an eye-watering £1,643,477 a month (£379,263 a week) – over £300,000 a month more than Jurgen Klopp does at Liverpool.
However, the world's best paid manager in fact hails from Spain, according to L'Equipe, with Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone blowing his competition out of the water when it comes to his pay check.
The Argentinian brings in a whopping £2,487,187 a month – over £800,000 more than Guardiola does at City.
That means Simeone earns over half a million every week, making him not only the best-paid manager in the world, but one of the best paid men in football.
Some odd figures there. Starting with Simeone earning more than Managers of Real/Barca combined.
Conte was at number 4 until very recently. Surprised other Managers not there-PSG and Man Utd, for example
Yea I think you're right as I just found this about PSG.
PSG head coach Christophe Galtier is the best-paid Ligue 1 coach, according to L’Équipe yearly breakdown of salaries released today. With a monthly baseline of €665k, Galtier earns nearly double that of second-placed Marseille manager Igor Tudor, who is on €330k monthly wages.
However, Galtier earns less that former PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino used to. The Argentine was the league’s highest-earning coach with a €1.1m monthly salary.
It seems like L’Équipe are all over the place with their quotes as ETH at Man Utd is on at least £3.3m a year.
I suspect this is more nearer the truth even though it was from last year and most PL managers would be on the L’Équipe list if they'd done their research properly.

Solskjaer was on 7.5 million, so a proper manager is presumably on more. Brendan Rogers is believed to be on 10 milly at Leicester. Even Ickle Mikel should be on that list.
Chelsea FC has announced that Graham Potter has departed the club. Graham has agreed to collaborate with the Club to facilitate a smooth transition. In his time with the club, Graham has taken us to the quarter final of the Champions League, where we will face Real Madrid. Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future.
Starting to look like Brendan Rogers is going to be the next Spurs Manager-backed down to as low as 13/8 at various bookies.
Think he has 2 huge advantages over other Managers:-
1. More loyal than many. Stayed at Leicester despite having to sell his best players, and given 10 bob to buy replacements. Success everywhere, apart from a mixed bag at Liverpool
2. He might actually want to manage my club. I'm seeing the likes of Nagelsman, Poch etc holding off on saying anything in the hopes of getting the Real Madrid (or even Chelsea) job. Which, in my book, means I don't want them at my club...
PS-Chelsea. How on earth are they going to satisfy FFP over the next 5 years?
There are 2 ways of ascertaining where a club should naturally be. How much they spend signing players, and the wage bill. Which, for me at least, makes for interesting reading.
Showing that Chelsea and Liverpool are having an absolute 'mare. In relation to the better funded clubs, Arsenal and Newcastle are having good seasons. Lots of fuss about Spurs but, in reality, we are exactly where we should be.

Most impressive? Got to be Brentford.
