MTV Unplugged was easily the best show of it's kind & by a very long way, so quite a feat by you to pick the three worst ones. (Not even close).
Nirvana, are you being serious?
PS - best add a smiley. I'm being serious but equally just throwing a bant in.
Have you not heard of The Beatles, Hollies, 10CC, Mike & The Mechanics, Creme, Aerosmith, etc?
The Aerosmith "Unplugged" might just have been the best ever.
Will give you the Beatles and Cream. Hollies and Mike and the Mechanics couple of good songs. 10cc and Aerosmith bang average. There have been very few albums that changed music, and Nirvana had one of them.
ive got a few mtv unplugged cd's in a box somewhere, i used to love the REM one and probably wore out the oasis one........really should searched them up for a listen but i gotta go sleep, early rising tomorrow........
and @Tikay10 glad you put the smiley on that post or I woulda had to stick you on the ignore list haha

Talking of unplugged, one of my most played sessions was Bon Jovi, especially the version of Cohens Hallelujah.
I am torn about Nirvana, certainly the album had a huge impact upon the teen generation of the day, I'm just not convinced that they would have become the absolute powerhouse that Dave Grohl later unleashed in The Foo Fighters.
Radiohead are the worst band ever to be given a record deal. I hate them with a passion and think the only reason for buying any of their stuff would be to use as weapons in a remake of Shaun of the Dead. Ghastly, turgid, morose stuff to dampen even the most downbeat of occasions.
On with the beat and back in time with 3 live tracks recorded in Glasgow at the Apollo, Barrowlands and Apollo again.
Morning all, I thought a trip down cover version avenue was the order of the day. Perhaps the most surprising one being the first which is a cover of a, and I can't believe I'm saying this, Taylor Swift song.
Ok, having survived that strange anomaly, we then have a cover of a Pistols classic and then finish with a decent rendition of one of glam rockers The Sweet's finest tracks.

Agreed, the REM one was excellent, as was Radiohead.
Nirvana was still utter shite though...

My favourite Placebo track ever. Loving that one.
