I'll be watching EVACUATION on Channel 4 at 9pm tonight.
It's the British Troops story of the Evacuation of people from Kabul Airport, after the War in Afghanistan was declared to be finished. When WE (the Allied Forces) gave in
The American Troops version .... 'Escape from Kabul' was an amazing watch imo, and it will be great, and enlightening, to see the British Troops version .....though no doubt pretty harrowing in places.
I love watching documentaries on real life events that actually happened, with real live footage

I watched the recent CH5 one about Wayne Couzens. Cressida D ick described him as the one bad apple, which is clearly not the case. The number of officers that have been reported for serious offences is astonishing. The messages shared in Couzens WhatsApp group were repulsive. What I found incredible was that Kent police had him bang to rights, yet seemingly did nothing. He had flashed at a girl in a drive through. The girl provided them with a statement. The drive through gave the force, his credit card details, as well as his registration number, and CCTV footage. No excuse.
David Carrick also featured. He clearly thought he was immune from any punishment. Another very evil man, his penalties inflicted on one of the women he was seeing, in respect of not sticking to his rules, included locking her in her very small under stairs cupboard for hours on end, anally raping her, and urinating on her.
The officer that disclosed some of the Couzens group WhatsApp messages suspected that many officers will have been told to abandon similar groups, by their senior officers, and delete their messages, to avoid more scandals surfacing.

Wayne Couzens ‘repeatedly flashed McDonald’s workers at drive-thru’
It is also looking into accusations that Kent Police, where Couzens previously volunteered, failed to investigate reports in 2015 that a man had been spotted driving down a road with no trousers on.
The Met have insisted their vetting process could not have picked up concerns around the murderer when he was hired.
But in a statement on Thursday evening it admitted ‘one of a range of checks’ prompted by his application ‘may not have been undertaken correctly’.
A vehicle registered to Couzens was linked to the 2015 allegation, yet the Met’s review found that the ‘record of this allegation and outcome may not have been found during the vetting checks.
