Also watched the final two Episodes (3 of 4 & 4 of 4) of The Rise & Fall of Boris Johnson.
Might just be the best TV I've seen this year. Episode 4 in particular was spectacularly good.
Johnson came across dreadfully, as you'd expect, as did his Dad.
The surprise package was Nigel Farage who was shown to have a very sharp mind indeed & analysed the Boris situation more concisely than anyone. I actually think I could come to respect him if he were not such a raving racist.
I probably dislike Stanley as least as much as Boris. I have heard Farage described as the most influential politician that we have had in this country for many years. I havent seen the programme yet, but he is currently a long way away from getting any respect from me.

There was apparently a cartoon in The Times this morning, that showed Boris getting an Oscar for "Best Supporting Foreign Secretary", after his trip to Venezuela.
Quick mention for 2 shows that I have thoroughly enjoyed.
1. Poker Face. What's not to like? A former pro poker player turns detective, as she can always tell when someone is lying. Surprisingly, the stories pay homage to Columbo, as we know whodunnit, and the fun is working out how she works it out 2. The Traitors. There is a certain level of snobbery attached to "Reality" TV. Whereas, like all other genres, a lot is rubbish and some of it is brilliant. If you've not seen it, watch the 1st 2 episodes of either Series 1 or Series 2. When you will be hooked.
Do you watch all of them Phil, or just the UK version.
All of them. But the British one has been best. I would recommend starting with UK Series 1. And fast forwarding past some of the challenges. Here is a sentence I never thought I'd write:-
Claudia Winkleman is superb in this.
Series 2 is the best thing on TV so far this year. Though Series 4 of True Detective is a close 2nd.
The Traitors movie announced with Suranne Jones playing Claudia Winkleman

Just finished watching True Detectives.
True Detective renewed for season 5 from Night Country showrunner
Just got to the end of series 1. 22 episodes. Horatio was in it from the start. Petrocelli appears at the end of the first series, as did the guy from Murder One. Looks like there are only 12 series there now. It started in 1993 til 2004. Its a very good cast. Still good today.
Force of Nature: The Dry 2 review – Eric Bana returns as Aaron Falk in solid thriller Based on Jane Harper’s bestseller, this twisty mystery follows Falk as he investigates a dodgy CEO (Richard Roxburgh) and his missing employee (Anna Torv)
Force of Nature: The Dry 2 is in Australian cinemas from Thursday
The first and perhaps most obvious point to make about Robert Connolly’s sequel to his popular and finely made mystery-thriller The Dry is that it’s not dry at all – it’s very, very wet. The director, again adapting a bestselling novel by Jane Harper, opens with shots of lush wilderness – the film is largely based in the Victorian mountain ranges – and rain-covered leaves.
Harper has written a third and final book in the series, which I hope Connolly will also adapt into a film – with Force of Nature, he has done a decent job in keeping us engaged in Falk’s world.

New crime show from Netflix is on the way, based on the same thriller novel series as a very divisive 2017 movie
Anew crime show is headed to Netflix, adapted from the same novel series that brought about one of the most divisive thrillers of recent years, The Snowman.
The upcoming Nordic noir show is adapted from author Jo Nesbø’s Harry Hole books, focusing on the fifth novel in the series about an obsessive but brilliant homicide detective, titled The Devil’s Star.
