No wish to upset you with my Post .... Good Luck.

    Not upset-you too.
    You sure.!
    Absof....inlutely.
I am just making a point.

    You said this,
I have donated to Marks Charities in the past but there is something about this one that makes me hesitate..... sure others have concerns hence the poor response.

I think that they seem to be above board.
Yes, they do a great job every year like all other Charities which people support.

Sorry if you read into my post ( dodgy ) not intended.

In fact, just thought of a new donation competition?

I'll donate £29.74 and see if anyone is prepared to ' out donate' me by a penny and donate £29.75, then someone else £29.76 etc etc

The good thing is that there appears to have been a boost in the number of reads.

Just to clarify my silliness ....

"Your pet Charity"..... good for you, makes you feel good then happy days.

I see it as Government Dept that's been allowed to evolve into full blown Charity.

    Hence my hesitation to donate.

I merely thought it seemed like a good cause.
Christmas must be an awful time to be alone, and skint.
Particularly if we get a bit of snow.

Secondly, I wasnt clear on what you meant, regarding the comment below.

I see it as Government Dept that's been allowed to evolve into full blown Charity.

And therefore I didnt think that it explained your silliness, hesitation to donate, or anything else.

I am not even sure it is my pet charity.
I just thought it was worth donating to.
I appreciate that whether you donate or not, is completely your choice, but I am struggling to understand what you are trying to say.
I initially referred to your comments as being silly, as you seemed to be casting aspersions about a Charity that has been running since 1967.
I was referring to your comments being silly rather than you.

You wish me to elaborate on my comment evolve.

"The Rise of the Charity Machines" 40 years in the making taking responsibility for the problem away from Government where it was created and should have been funded.

This is not a serious statement as I don't do serious. fwiw

I dont think that they are taking responsibility for the problem, as the problem, in this case homelessness, clearly still exists.
Although they probably alleviate it a little, from time to time.
    In this case at Christmas.
