MAIL ON SUNDAY EXCLUSIVE: Boris Johnson could return as Prime Minister under astonishing plans being hatched by Tory MPs - with a 'dream ticket' leadership tie-up with Nigel Farage even being considered. The Mail on Sunday has spoken to multiple Conservative MPs who believe that bringing back the former Premier is the only way to save the party from an Election wipeout. It comes as Rishi Sunak faces a crunch vote on Tuesday on his flagship Rwanda migrants plan, with whips using threats and blandishments to try to quell a revolt - allegedly even offering peerages to potential rebels if they toe the line.
The sad state of affairs is that none of the main parties are viable prospects if we want to advance as a nation and the others don't have enough clout to force change.
"Not very" Cleverley is either completely thick. Or he believes the electorate are. Or, more likely, both.
It is not the Treaty that is in question here. It is the UK's assertion that, for both National and International purposes, Rwanda is a safe country. Not at this moment in time. For as long as it is convenient for this Govt to say so. Regardless of what anyone else says. Or what may happen like, for example, a coup in Rwanda. Where loads of the population get killed.
1. Illegal migrants certainly will not "overwhelm" the UK. 30,000 people into a population of 67 million is really not relevant. Whereas allowing over 1 million in legally might. Particularly as about half never seem to leave. 2. The attack on Starmer in the Sunday Torygraph is pathetic. A Lawyer's job is to act for people, irrespective of personal feelings. For a Solicitor, it is an economic imperative, and for a Barrister it is a legal requirement under what is known as the "cab rank" rule. I have acted for people that I despise on a personal level-hasn't stopped me doing my professional best for them

P.R - 1 person, 1 vote, the only true democracy.
It will never happen though.

Like in 1959. 1973. And 1990-1994.
