Oh, and some chap called Daniel Negreanu won his 7th bracelet in Event #58: $50,000 Poker Players Championship for $1,178,703.

Pleased to see that, I've been watching his YouTube vlog thingy most days and he was down nearly $1 million so far this World Series so at least he's in profit now!
Sometimes the runout means that you go out first time while playing correctly. Pretty sure I would go bust both times there.
2 quick stories.
Think the only time I have ever gone out first hand live was at Les Ambassadeurs in London. Flopped top set. Carlo Citrone had a gut shot. I bet small to keep him in-serves me right
The most drunk I have ever seen anyone in my life was at the end of a Day 1 in the Main. Guy was paralytic. So-me being me-had to ask why.
He was in the Big Blind. 4 all-ins before he looked at his hand. It was AA. And (of course) he lost...
Danny Grogan out in 864th for $22,500. Alvez out in 1235th for $17,500, with 1517 being paid. Cannot find Michael Kanes' name on the updated list but, I may have missed it. There are 464 remaining with blinds at start of Day 5 being 100k-150k, BB ante 150k. From 388 and down they have a single (or less) pass with their stacks, it'll be carnage

Dan Bilzerian Lasts Two Hands in WSOP Main Event
Difficult to imagine anyone having much sympathy for him.

I can see two Sky players (That I know) on this list.
1261 & 1394.
Unsure of Alvez's real name, but hopefully he got through too?

It was nice to see the ghost of Barry Cryer hanging out on main event runner up Jordan Griff's rail.
