Think it is some time since I posted my thoughts on this subject, so here is a short version:-

    1. There are some sports where men and women compete on an equal footing anyway. Horse racing, various equestrian sports, etc. For those sports, should not be of any relevance
    2. As far as amateur sport is concerned, any possible harm is outweighed by the benefits
    3. But when it is a professional sport, with clear advantages to be being born male, then the reverse is true. If there is a significant advantage, that cannot be truly nullified, then I believe certain Trans athletes should not be allowed to compete in Women's professional sport. Not because they should not be accepted as Women-just not allowed to earn substantial money from Women's sport
    @Essexphil

    Good Post.

It IS a problem, & a particularly difficult one to solve satisfactorily. However.... it is NOT a reason to be negative about trans people or the world of LGBTQ generally. We need to solve these problems, not use them as weapons of negativity.
    Unbelievable.

2 quick comments about the last 2 articles.

    1. It is true to say that many of the most fervent Trump supporters are epsilon-minus semi-morons. And it is easy to lampoon them (which was done very well there). But that rather ignores the fact that nearly 50% of those who vote will vote for Trump. The mere fact that, were I American I would not, is neither here nor there. A lot of normal people also think he is the better bet to be the next President

    2. I believe the Musk election bribe is 1 of the most undemocratic things in history. It is buying votes. And to pretend otherwise is laughable

My brother in law, a well educated 68 yr old Englishman who has lived in USA all his adult life(and now resides in Florida...) is more than likely planning to vote for Trump!?!

( Mike's not a racist, not homophobic and is not anti abortion- don't forget he is also an immigrant to the US, albeit it 40+ years ago)

More importantly for reasons of experiencing a Biden/Harris administration for 4 years , it's a case of not voting for Harris! ( there's more to this than we in the UK know/experience....)

IMO He has been ' brainwashed' by constant lies/mistruths/social media and manipulations by the Trump campaign, yet for some reason we can't seem to have an intelligent debate with him about Trump and his shortfalls, always returning back to Harris/Biden and their running of the country

The latest gaff by Biden-calling all Trump supporters garbage- won't have helped!
It's seems bizarre to us to yet for some reason, along with a significant proportion of middle America, it's gonna be so close to call we're gonna likely to another Jan 06

I was hoping the majority for Harris/Walz was going to be so significant, it couldn't be questioned....got to worry for the whole world if he does get back in!

Let's hope there's enough people who just won't vote for Trump actually come out and vote for Harris, if only for the reason of keeping Trump out of office and eventually putting him in jail...fingers crossed eh?🤞

All political parties do it one way or another.

    They do.

But there are legal ways. And illegal ways. And that is very much in the latter category.

Judging by some of those comments by Trump supporters in the Klepper vids I'm going to hazard a guess that many of them don't know how "alphabetical" works.

My family are split exactly 50/50 on this election.
I am rooting for Kamala as are two of my brothers,
However the other brother and my father and mother are passionately routing for Trump.

My mum who has the same attitude towards trans as @legascaac has sees this as a major womens issue trans women competing in womens sport. and makes out that is the most important thing.

Which makes no sense to me as denying hundreds of millions of women basic health care freedom of choice on their bodies etc is nothing in comparison to the however many professional atheletes women there are in America. I mean I dont claim to know the numbers but I would guess at like a few thousand professional female atheletes my mums position seems absolutely absurd.

I think if Trump wins maybe we wont have to worry about Russia taking over the world so much because we might just set the whole thing on fire basically with climate change and we will go extinct I mean who knows maybe the last few people to survive will be Russian so Russia can claim to have won the game. Though my best guess would be it would be some of the africans that managed to move to come over on the boats.

I mean for all the illogical racism thrown around the only truth is that white people are adapted to colder climates whilst black people are adapted to hotter climates.

So if the racist white supremists had sense (of course they never do) you would think climate change would be among their top priorities (they mostly deny it).

My maga brother says Kamala is an idiot and has nothing to say other then trump is bad he says she has no idea what she is doing and would start world war three.

Trump been best mates with Putin does not get considered.
