Was busy yesterday so didn't have time to do any bets and todays games are a bit too close too call. I had a free £5 bet to use up so gone for The Arc to see if I can get some returns from the free bet.
My first thought was that us Amateurs shouldn't be telling Pro Managers what to do. But then he is a 50-yr-old man who is not exactly an old head at Management. Total previous experience? Caretaker boss at Coventry, Brentford and Birmingham. Apparently not considered for any of the permanent positions.
The time to experiment with a False 9 is a Friendly. Unless, of course, you feel this sort of Hail Mary might be the only way to get you the Job.
We have 1 World Class Defender. Walker. Who sat on the Bench. With Guehi. Who looks the next best. Injuries have stopped Stones being the player he once was.
We picked 6 Midfielders. 5 of which are Attacking Midfielders/Wingers. Leaving just Rice-whose main strength is not tackling. We need to be experimenting to find the next Henderson. And no Forwards.
We always bang on about our great Wingers. Yet pick Gordon. Saka was also terrible-but he has an excuse-he normally plays very well.
We needed to put 1 or 2 Forwards on at Half Time. Unfortunately, while that may have been in England's best interests, it was not in Carsley's.
On the bright side, I only wanted 1 rant. And it was this or Immigration
My usual 20 team +1.5 goals acca I've been quite close a few times this season.
does those 20 1.5 thing works for you? I find even 5 of them is tricky
I mainly do those big accas, along side my main bets, for a bit of fun on a Saturday afternoon to watch the goals come in, last weekend I only missed out by 3 goals.
Half time update on the acca, so I need 40 goals over the twenty games as it stands at half time 24 goals have been scored so need 16 second half goals amongst the remaining games, there has been a lot of goals across all games today.
***Edit***
Two quick second half goals mean just the 14 goals now needed...
***EDIT OF EDIT***
The first edit was the kiss of death to the acca as the goals slowed right down, it ended up 8 goals short but a good run for a free bet.
The early kick off and horse bet returned a profit, now just need an Arsenal win to round the day off.

no wonder she's being paid £420 every single second
