You need to have an ability to do simple mental arithmatic to play poker so maybe you should try this:

This must be done in your head only .

Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 . Now add 30.

Add another 1000 . Now add 20 . Now add another 1000 Now add 10 . What

is the total?

Did you get 5000?

The correct answer is actually 4100.

If you don't believe it, check it with a calculator! If you got it wrong give up the poker for a while and rest your brain.

if you work it out in your head people often get confused on 4090 they then add 10 and think its 5000 instead of 4100 if you used pen and paper it is impossible to get it wrong, but its a long time great is this one and i love it, it always gets a few but not everybody will admit to ti (like me) lol

A Trick Of The Mind But Ot One You Need To Work Out !!

read the sentence below very quickly

uopn reaidng tihs it beocmes obivuos to yuo taht alhtoguh seplt cmompeltly wrnog yuor mnid atlres teh lettres aornud and yuor albe to raed teh wrods corrcelty

as long as the first letter (maybe first 2 on certain words) and the last letter are in the right place then your mind will fill in the information inbetween and you will read what you expect to be there and not what is actually there

    Correct Grimstar nice one!

    An easy one............

Every morning a man gets into the lift on the tenth floor, goes down to the ground floor, and goes to work.

Every evening he returns gets in the lift and goes to the seventh floor then walks up the stairs to the tenth floor where he lives.  Why?
