About time, was beginning to think I'd never win another poker tournament ever again. Heads-up play lasted an hour in this one before I finally managed to end it with 33 > A4 aipf.
£3.30 Bounty Hunter, Sky MTT win #170 for me, of which Bounty Hunter #102
Total prize contribution is split equally between the tournament prize pool and player bounties. If you win a bounty you keep 75% with 25% added to your own head value. Late Reg will be open for 30 minutes. Minimum 3 runners.

I hardly ever £2.30 Bounty Hunters these days. Reason being that all the ones that run during my usual playing hours have the speed structure which blunts skill edges and makes the result more luck based. However when I logged-on this evening I saw one about to go off with a standard structure so bought in.
Stayed out of the Mini and Main because deepies will run too late for me (I was up for work at 12-20am this morning). Would have been in both of those if they were Bounty Hunters or Turbos at £22/£5.50.
Only had time for one game across Thursday/Friday, late registering into a mid-morning £3.30 Bounty Hunter when I got home from work on the Friday. It would have been rude not to win it.
I feel bad how it ended. I'd arranged to meet my partner locally during her 1-30pm to 2-30pm lunchbreak. However the tournament was still playing 3-handed come 1-30pm so I was running late. By the 1-55pm break I was heads-up with the chiplead, confident I could close it out. Unfortunately my opponent didn't return after the break. I wanted to get the game over and done with as soon as possible so didn't wait long before blinding her/him out. I'd have waited much longer usually, but sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do.
Nice one Gary. Personally, I wouldn't start a tournament if I'd agreed to meet my partner, but each to their own. Poker /> people sometimes innit. Roll on #175/#106. Posted by hhyftrftdr
Thanks. I misjudged the time it was likely to finish, and even though I have an edge over the field I'm not expecting to make final table any more than say 10% of the time. We got 15 mins in the end, so it wasn't too bad, had penciled in 30.
