In Response to Re: SPT 2009/10 - Post your Questions here, please. : The dinner break is certainly a major highlight in playing an SPT event as it is quite literally one mad dash to see who can get the hottest plate of nosh first and who gets a plate of food that is lukewarm! :) Posted by OnlyOneCT

Hi Bighead,
If you go to the second page on this section there is a thread entitled, player briefing for Newcastle leg. All the details of your request will be on that.
In the week before the Luton leg you will receive an email similar to that briefing with all the Luton details, bu the starting stack and blind structures will be the same.

Hi mate - I was planning on getting the train from preston and coming back the same night, but just heard it can go on for 12 hours so don't know what to do now - At the moment you can get a return preston for 11.50, but I might wait and see what other ppl are doing

Hi MP33,
You may have a problem if you run deep, as the last 3 legs finished at 1.45 and 1.30am on the Sundays.
If you look at leg 3 SPT hotel deal thread, there are some deals for cheapish hotels near the casino.

Question about the final SPT round...
Has a deal been done yet by SKY with a Nottingham Hotel for discounted rooms?
If we (my wife/daughter.....thanks TK) book our flghts from Shetland now we can get a real good deal, would also like to book Hotel at the same time.
ps. coming to Nottingham even if we have to camp out.
Colin
Booking this far in advance you'd probably beat the deal anyway
Most when playing at DTD use
Holiday Inn, Nottingham Marina
or, cheaper, Premier travel Inn, Nottingham South
or, very nice, Village Hotel, Clifton
